Chapter 20:

"This plan is not going to work"  Mike thinks to himself

Mike rounds the corner of the hall with whispers springing up around him. He sighs and carries on. He walks up to Sapphire who is standing like she's expecting for someone to talk to her.

"Hey Sapphire, can you believe Katie would take a picture of such a private matter?" Ask Mike.

"Ya seems like a thing she would do" says Sapphire "but I would never do that".

"Would you like to...oh I don't know...go somewhere more private than these halls" suggests Mike leaning on the wall "I'm sure Jace won't mind".

Sapphire squeals and smiles, reveling her fangs.

"Sure!! I'd love to!" says Sapphire.

Mike offers his arm to her, which she happily excepts. They walk down the hallway and into a room that has a sign that reads No Students Allowed. Mike gets the door for her and they walk inside the empty room.

"Nice choice of room, no one will look in here!" says Sapphire twirling around the room.

Mike fake smiles and grabs Sapphire, pulling her close to him.

"Here goes nothing" Mike thinks to himself.

He closes the space between them. Sapphire deepens the kiss, not noticing the blue vines closing on her feet and before she realizes it, the blue vines are rapidly moving up her body, immobilizing her. Mike takes a few steps back and she screams.

"MIKE!!!HELP ME!!!" says Sapphire reaching out for him.

He shakes his head. She hears a faint laugh come from the darkness of the room, she panics, looking frantically around the room.

"How pathetic" says the voice from the shadows.

Then lights shut off, filling the room with darkness.

"Who are you!" Sapphire yells into the darkness. She feels a brush of something cold against her arm.

"Your worst nightmare" the voice whispers into her ear.

Sapphire tries to frantically break free of the blue vines around her legs, making there way up her body. But the vines are to strong for her to break. Suddenly she feels a sharp pain in her arm, causing her to scream.

"What's wrong? Did that hurt?" Asks the voice.

"Y-yes it did,please let me go. I've always been a good girl" Sapphire pleads.

"A good girl? Sorry hun, I don't like so" the voice says "what about that girl that you backstabbed with a picture?".

"Katie...she was nice, but she got into my way. So I had to do something about her" Sapphire says coldly.

"And what did you do exactly?" Asks the voice sounding a little distant.

"I knew her and Mike would have sex, so I put a camera in her room to look like that's supposed to take pictures of her having sex with boys. It worked perfectly." Sapphire brags.

"I see...how did you get into the house?" Asks the voice, coming closer to her.

"Simple, I used my vampire speed to get into her room, place the camera. Then I turned invisible so I could silently take pictures. When they were done and he left, so did I. I went home, choose the sluttiest looking photo, and made thousands of copies. The next day I handed the pictures out to all the students, telling them how I found the picture outside Katie's house. The popular people where the easiest to buy it and they spread it very quickly.
