Chapter 1

Aviyah's POV

"Do you smell that?" I asked my friend Louise. We've just arrived at school and as soon as i stepped out from my Porsche 911, it hit me at full force, the musky scent of pine and cinnamon. "smell what?" Louise replied while lifting her nose up in the air, sniffing. I scanned the crowd, looking for the person it belonged to, "MATE!" my wolf yelped. I giggled at how happy my wolf is and then i saw HIM..my world just froze..walking through the parking lot was a nerd with thick glasses, a weak looking scrawny boy.........and..(the thing that frightened me) a HUMAN.

Yes i'm popular, people respect me, fear me, adore me and are jealous of me. Guys would hit on me all the time, well not to brag or seem to be vain but i do love everything about me. I'm 5'6, with strawberry blonde wavy hair that reach my waist and electric blue eyes. But i'm not that stereotype of a popular girl you see in movies like Mean Girls. Nope! i'm not a skanky, skinny ass bitch that dresses in tinie tiny bit fuck me clothes and has a horrible persona. I've got muscles and just the right amount of fat and curves in all the right places. As the future Luna i look after my pack but if you do get on my bad side i'll go all ape shit on you.....or wolf shit in our case.

I still stood there frozen in my spot 'he's human' the thought repeating in my head. I didn't care what he looked like cos' to me he's got the most dazzling grey eyes, kissable lips and to me he's built is just fine. I didn't care if he's a nerd. I was afraid of what my parent's might say if they find out that my mate is a human. I'm afraid they'd tell me to reject him, in which i cant. The moongoddess made him for me and i'm not just gonna throw him away and reject him. I despise the thought of a wolf rejecting his/her mate.

"SNAP SNAP SNAP" I didnt notice Louise in front of me and shaking my shoulders. "Aviyah! you're scaring me, are you okay? what's wrong?" she said with a panicked expression. "sorry, Louise I-I just fo-" just when i was gonna tell her i found my mate the bell rang signaling that class has started. "yes..?" Louise continued eager to hear what i have to say but i just told her that we'll talk about it at lunchtime and she just nodded. We ran to our first period and took our seats at our usual spot at the back of the class.

Finally! lunchtime..me and louise walked to the cafeteria and went over to our table. Already sitting there are three more of my bestfriends. Roi Price; soon to be Beta, Owen Richardson; soon to be Third in Command & Candace Hill; Beta Female (Roi's mate). Before i forget, Louise Taylor; soon to be the 1st Rank Warrior of the pack, this girl is vicious and can kick your ass in many ways you can't even imagine. As soon as we sat down Loiuse can't wait any longer "So this morning? parking lot?" she eagerly asked. I leaned in closer to them and they did the same "I found my mate" i said in a hushed tone. "AHH! thats GREAT!" "Who is he? do we know him?" "Alas! our Alpha!" "Is he Hot!?" they all whisper yelled in chorus. I had to close my eyes and wait for them to shut up "No you don't know him, I don't even know his name apparently his a new student, of course to me he's hot and no! its not great cos' he's a freaking HU wait for it MAN!". They stared at me for a second before the last part hit them "WHAT?!" "NO WAY!" "SERIOUSLY?!" "WHAT THE FU-" before roi could finish what he was saying i shushed them "GUYS! PLEASE STOP TALKING ALL AT ONCE YOU'RE GIVING ME A HUGE HEADACHE AND I'M ALL READY STRESSED OUT!" just when i finished talking his wonderful scent attacked my nose again, he walked past our table to an empty one two tables from us.

"That's him" i whispered. The four of them looked at his direction and owen was the first to talk "I know him, he's in my history class, his name is Nathaniel Woods.. just moved in here with his dad." "What are you gonna do? I wonder how Alpha and Luna Myers would react to this" candace spoke. " I honestly don't know..but no matter what happens i'm going to fight for him, i'm not going to reject him." "Then you actually know exactly what you're gonna do aviyah, go to him.." louise told me with a big smile on her face, I smiled right back "okay" i said letting out a breath and standing up "Don't worry about a thing, we're just here for you, always" roi added before i left them. "thank you" I mindlinked to four of them.

While I was walking towards him i took notice of what he's wearing, he got a striped black and white cardigan over a plain white shirt, faded jeans and old battered vans era. "Not too shabby" I thought to myself. When I was a few inches at his table i stopped and he's head instantly snapped up to look at me and his grey eyes locked with mine. He is so adorable! i just wanna pinch he's cheeks! "hi!" I greeted him smiling, he stared at me for a while before answering "h-hi?" I giggled at his shyness while pulling out a chair beside him and sitting down "I saw you sitting alone and thought you needed company, my friend owen over there told me you just moved here so i decided to ask you out later on after class to show you around town. Glenwood Springs is a small town but you'd love it here" grabbing his hand on top of the table i felt sparks at the palm of my hands spreading throughout my body. I smiled my award winning smile and i think i might have given him a mini heart attack cos' he's just staring at me with wide eyes. "Did you ju-.. is it-.. a date?" he asked when he finally recovered. "Yes it is, meet me out at the parking lot after class, you'll find me easily with my yellow porsche. See you later babe" with that I stood up and gave him a light kiss on the cheek.

Before I could reach my table Nadia Huntington together with her minions: Shelby Hall and Tetricia Lee blocked my way with their skinny asses. Well the "Mean Girls" do exist. Unfortunately. "Are you finally gonna give up your virginity aviyah? to a nerd?" nadia laughed hysterically molding her cakey face into an unpleasant sight. "Shut it fuck face" the bitch just had to ruin my day "Is there a problem here ladies" louise interjected crossing her arms over her chest with a sneer on her face. The three bimbo's stomped away from us but not before giving us death glares. Forgetting about them i just thought about my date with nathaniel later on and i just couldn't wait for school to end!
