Four cats stood on a hill. One of them, a black she-cat with green eyes named Sage, looked at the others.

"It's time," she murmered

Another black cat, a tom named Fern, nodded. He let out a sigh.

"This won't be easy," another tom, this one a bracken colored tabby with ice-blue eyes named Briar. His eyes were on the forest with almost no undergrowth and trees spaced out.

"You're right Briar. I'm really going to miss you guys," a tortoiseshell she-cat with amber eyes, Sorrel, murmered. The four cats shared one last look, and padded off. Sage went into the oak forest, which also had a few birch trees, and a couple more the cats had never seen. Sorrel went into dense woodland, filled with tightly compacted trees, and a decent amount of undergrowth. Fern went across a small lake, onto a large island with a grassy clearing and trees. Briar padded to the place he had been staring at, with the little undergrowth and spaced out trees.

"Goodbye!" they all called out, and disappeared, voices echoing around as the leaders of the new clans came home to there campmates.
