3 months- March (they got 'together' in December)

"April!" I could hear Remus' voice, but it sounded like he was underwater.

"April!" James' voice broke through, slightly louder than Remus'.

"Come on! Wake up!" Sirius' voice finally woke me up, and as I opened my eyes I could see all three of their faces leaning over me.

"Why are you guys-?" Suddenly I felt something wet slide down my face. Had I been crying?

"April, are you okay? You were screaming," Remus explained.

"I-I had a weird dream. More of a nightmare, really. I don't think that I- that I existed. James and Lily were dead, and so were you and Sirius. We-you guys- never found out about Peter being bad so he gave James and Lily up to Voldemort. He seemed to be a really big deal, something like a dark lord? I don't know the details." I took a shaky breath and continued,

"James and Lily had a son though, Harold? No, it was Harry. Everyone praised him as a celebrity, but he ended up being killed by Voldemort. Sirius, you were a prisoner but you broke out. I think you were close with Harry, because after I saw your cousin Bellatrix k-kill you, Remus had to hold him back." I smiled bitterly.

"James, you would be so proud of him. Remus, you had a wife and a son but then you were murdered. You and your wife were laid side by side with all the other casualties. The last thing I remember was Harry dying, they were in some sort of war I think. There were just so many bodies." After I finished retelling my dream, I laid back against the couch again.

I could feel the tears streaming down my face, but I made no move to wipe them away.

"April, you know that's just a dream, right? We're all here, right here, alive and beside you. None of us are ever going to leave you alone, alright? Remus, James and I, we're here to stay," Sirius whispered. I looked at him through my tears, then threw my arms around his neck and hugged him. Soon Remus and James had made our hug into a group one, and we all sat there and simply held each other.

After about five minutes of this, James pulled out of the hug.

"This is to sad. We should do something more fun, like build a fort or have a karaoke party!" He declared.

"Why don't we do both?" Remus questioned with a mischievous grin and suddenly we were surround by pillows, blankets, and microphones.

"Lets do this!"

.........................................................

So, it turns out that Sirius Orion Black does not take fort-building as a joke. After James and I 'accidentally' collapsed the fort one to many times, he kicked us out and made us start working on the karaoke setup.

James had no idea how to work a karaoke machine, or what karaoke even was, so I did most of the work. I think he understood what it was, but maybe he was just faking it...

We eventually got everything set up, with Remus making popcorn (he burnt the first six bags), Sirius fixing the fort (and falcon-screeching at anyone who dared go near it before it was complete), and James and I setting up the karaoke (read: me setting up the karaoke and James goofing off).

We spent the night messing around, signing off-key, and stuffing our faces until we were all going to have food babies. I was fortunate enough to witness Sirius serenading Remus with 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight?' and all three of the boys doing 'Bohemian Rhapsody' quite off key but still hilarious.

James and I did a duet of 'Rainbow Connection' and perhaps the most surprising part was Remus' cover of 'Supercalifragillsticexpialidocius'  with surprising accuracy.

The karaoke ended with Remus and Sirius singing 'Hakuna Matata' then collapsing onto the couch, refusing to get up. James and I threw them a blanket then crawled into the fort, which was actually pretty well-made and spacious.

Right before I drifted off to sleep, James looked at me and whispered,

"April, hey April, are you still awake?"

"Well I am now," I joked as I rolled over to face him.

"I didn't mean to wake you up! It's not that important, you can go back to sleep," He hurriedly whispered.

"No, I was joking. What's up?" I asked.

"I, um, just wanted you to know that, ya know, I'll always be here for you. I will never leave you, I promise," He whispered.

"Well of course you won't, you can't. Soulbond, remember?" I answered.

"No, I mean it," He replied in earnest, "Bond or no bond, I'm not going to leave you April. Spending all this time with you have really shown me a new perspective on a lot of different things in life. I just wanted you to know that no matter what, I'll be here. You can count on me, because April,"

"Yeah, James?"

"I think I'm falling in love with you."

I literally decided to write this at like midnight. Why am I like this I HAVE TO GET UP EARLY TOMORROW....ugh

My AC is broken, which means I have to sleep in the lowkey scary room, so please lets all hope I don't die tonight...also: I legit live in the most humid place ever and now the air's off whywhywhy

Welp, while spilling all of my troubles to people who don't care is fun, sleep is required for the human body to function.

SERIOUSLY THOUGH I'M MELTING HELP SEND ANTARCTICA

ENJOY THIS TINY LIL CUTESY ONE-SHOT because I just started another book, Letters, so most of my writing time will probably go into that with this as more of a side-thing.

Thats all for today folks!
