Authour POV
Donghae laughed along with Hyoyeon until his eyes looked up at a woman standing a couple meters from them. His smile instantly faded and shock took over his body…
“Mom…”
Hyoyeon looked up to see Donghae frozen in place. Hyoyeon looked at the direction Donghae was looking at and saw a woman standing there staring back at them.
“Oppa, do you know her?” Hyo asked but Donghae didn’t respond.
He let go of Hyoyeon and slowly walked towards the woman.
“Mom… mom… MOM!” He crushed his mother’s little body in a hug. Him and his mother cried out all of their emotions.
Hyoyeon, Sooyoung and Eunhyuk watched from afar. Hyoyeon sniffled, Soo heard her and buried Hyo’s head on her chest so she could cry.
“After all this t-time… *sniffle* she came back…”
“So that’s his mom…” Eunhyuk mumbled. He balled up his fists, “How could she just leave him like that and then come back NOW! What about all the times when Donghae really needed her! Dammit!” He gritted his teeth.
“Eunhyuk… please.” Hyo pleaded.
Eunhyuk unclenched his fists and took a deep breath in and out to calm himself down.
“Omo! My son!” Hae’s mother cried out and wiped Donghae’s endless tears.
“O-omma… where’ve you been?” Hae weakly smiled.
“Let’s sit down and talk.”
They walked into a café and sat down at a table to talk.
“Donghae, my son. I’ve been such a horrible mother… I don’t even have the right to be called a mother. But now… I want to make it up to you.”
“H-how?”
“Come with me.”
“Where?”
“Overseas.”

Authour's POV
Donghae didn’t know whether or not to stay or go.
What about the life he has here? His friends, family, Hyoyeon? He’d be away from it all. How would Hyoyeon take it if he said yes? Would she hate him for leaving her? Would she not wait for him and move on to some other guy?
Sensing the uncertainty in him, his mother said, “But just for one year. I don’t want to take you completely away from the life you have now.”
Donghae faintly smiled and sighed, “Can I think about it? There’s someone I need to talk to first.”
“No problem Donghae. I’ll be here in Seoul.”
“Promise you won’t leave again?” Donghae remembered all the times from his past with his parents and all the promises that got broken.
Hae’s mom put her hands over top of his. “I promise you, I’ll be here.” His mother kissed his forehead and sighed. “Tell me when you make your decision.” She gave him her address and Donghae said goodbye.
When Donghae reached home, he saw Eunhyuk, Hyoyeon and Sooyoung sitting on the couch in the living room watching TV.
“Donghae! Your home!” Eunhyuk smiled.
All three friends had agreed that when Donghae comes home, make him feel as comfortable as possible and don’t bring up his mom.
“Hyoyeon, can I talk to you?” Hae asked.
