i was here

intro

i kind of wanted to make a book dedicated to all the quotes that have inspired not only my poetry but my life in general. only a few words can have a massive difference on how we see things and can somewhat help us on our journey through life.

i called this book 'i was here' due to the fact that with our lives, we will go places physically and metaphorically and this title is a statement stating that 'we have been here' and 'we have been through that' - think about it as an award for having been through something and survived.

heartbreak is a theme that will have make numerous re-occurrences in this book. this is because the emotion that comes from heartbreak is very hard to define, so being able to find a quote that relates exactly to your situation is exhilarating.

themes will not be limited or restricted to any one emotion. life is filled with endless adventures beyond falling in and out of love. being able to find yourself and learning to love yourself is something that we'll spend our whole lives doing. i hope you are able to find tranquility in these quotes like i did, and hopefully your life becomes a little bit better because of it.
