Days After We Met
I know as days after we met
our feelings for each other would be hard to see
I knew our fate was set
That you were the spirit for me
Before I knew you, you weren’t a part of my book
But now if you take a look, you’re the beginning and end of every chapter
I didn't even know you
I only knew your name
I wasn't sure what to do
I didn't know who to blame
I thought I would only get your basic info
But instead I made you laugh without trying to be a pro
Everything I did that day
Didn't completely show you who I am
Every time you came my way
I felt your presence that no one can tame
But a day without you
Is like getting burned by a flame
My actions weren't natural
my reactions were weird but mysteriously real
I don’t know if I truly felt terrible
But my heartbeat switched from normal to weird
But I started to feel this way
a couple of days after we met
And when my cousin said goodbye to me
My eyes were fixed on you
I knew I was trying to see
If you felt the same way too
On my own, will I ever know
Or do you prefer to show
I liked you when I saw your face
But maybe it was the touch
My heart had begun to race
I love when it rains because I can lay in my bed
Imagining you expressing hidden feeling that are hard to be said
Is it just a little or a lot
The laser beams from my eyes to yours are in a strong untangling knot
This is days after we met
When I’m hanging out with you
My friends think I’m crazy
But I don’t care
The brick wall me and you made together
The others couldn’t try to knock it down if they dare
I get happy and active when I see you
I try to hide it but then my heart wants to fly to the sky
This is not too many days after we met
What about the days after we met?
Everytime I see you, it’s like the first time…
Something enchanting followed by deep feelings down the line
Anyone can be beautiful because beauty is like art
But to me you’re the special someone who’s beautiful at heart
Sometimes I want to hold your hand
But my secretive feeling for you doesn’t know where to land
I love the way you stand up for me
I love how it jumps in me that you tease me
I love how your laugh is contagious
I like it when you stand by me
No matter where I am
Furthermore, this is days after we met
But I be like “DAMN!”
