One crucial piece of information: My life has ended. I know that much. I am spiraling down, down into the darkest abysses of hell. It felt as if it would never stop. It gets darker and darker until there is no light, no color. Just the pure unadulterated blackness that suppresses all noise. I can barely hear my own dying screams escaping my parched lips.

Horrifying thoughts passed through my head. When would I hit the bottom of this virtually endless pit? as an after-thought, what was the bottom, assuming there was one. And, worst of all, if the dead could die.

Then I saw light for the first time in... hours? days? months? maybe even years? There is no sense of time here. It burned into my retinas, a satisfyingly painful sensation after such a long time of pure nothingness. At least there was something to occupy my train of thought. What was it? Too many questions and no one to answer them.

I was going straight into the light. It engulfed me, searing into my skin. Pain. Unimaginable pain like hot daggers cutting through my already dead flesh.
