Chapter two :)

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

The next morning I woke up with a huge head ache. I sat up slowly and rubbed my temples. Usually when I sleep in I get head aches. I looked over at the time; 11:30 am. Wow I slept in, well I did go to bed pretty late last night. Getting up I had a head rush that hurt like hell. Why does it feel like I'm having a hang over?

I went over to my mirror and stumbled back a little when I seen my reflection. My hair was a mess and tangled with hair sticking up in all places. My make up from last night was under my eyes and smeared a bit. My face looked like it was sagging a little from tiredness. Bottom line was -I needed a shower- and I need one now.

After my nice hot shower I blew dry my hair and settled for simply straightening it and put on a base coat of make up. After making stupid cute faces in the mirror I grabbed the clothes I wanted to wear and got dressed. Im supposed to hang out with my boyfriend this weekend for my birthday so today it was just me and mom.

I take the stairs two at a time and jump off the last one. I paused for a second to hear my moms voice talking to someone else in the living room. It was a mans voice talking back and it sounded like it wasnt a happy conversation.

What if its the guy who was in my room last night! oh  no he isnt going to mess with my mom not happening! I stomp into the living room yelling as I came in

"Listen you psyco, you can harrass me but you even say one thing mean to my mom and I'll kick your ass you dumb mother-"

"Lannah Marie!" my moms voice shouted. Her face looked appalled as she never hears those kind of words come out of my mouth.

It was when she said my name I realized the man she was talking to was not the guy from last night. This guy was in his late twentys dressed in a nice suit and shoes. He was looking at me in a weird way and I tried my best not to yell "take a picture" .

"Lannah I want you to meet Matt, Matt this is my daughter Lannah" She held an emphasis on daughter. Then gave Matt a hard stare but He was looking at me. It felt really akward in the room but I gave a small smile and he nodded his head back at me.

"Now Lannah you said someone was harrassing you? Is that true?" Matt spoke to me. I almost felt compeled to answer him right away. His eyes stayed on mine not letting me break eye contact. I opened my mouth to say "It was nothing" but after my outburst at him I felt he deserved more than that.

With a sigh I said "Last night a guy popped up at......no in my window" I corrected myself and put a shaky hand through my hair.

My mom took a sharp intake of breath and stood up with her arms crossed. She was about to say something but Matt shook his head at her put a hand up. She sent me a sympathetic look then sat back down.

That was wierd, normally my mom had a temper and wouldn't let anyone stop her from stating her opinion. This guy had her stop before she even started and she just sat down like a ballon being deflated. Maybe there was a stronger history there than I know about.

I changed my gaze back to Matt who looked back into my eyes. His stare sent a chill down my back, mainly because I wasn't expecting him to be staring back at me that intently. My eyes stayed on his and started to glaze over. I faintly heard him say "Go on"  I was again mesmerized
