PEOPLE THOUGHT DYING TO BE

THE WORST PAIN ANYONE COULD ENDURE.

THEY WERE  W R O N G.

PEOPLE THOUGHT DYING WAS

FULL OF AGONY AND SUFFERING.

THE WERE  W R O N G.

DYING WAS PEACEFUL AND PAINLESS,

AND IT WAS THE MOST PEACEFUL MOMENT

ONE COULD EXPERIANCE.

At first, Allison felt all the pain of death as though the sky was crushing on her. Then, she felt all the feeling in her body slowly abandoning her until she felt nothing at all. She was dimly aware of the people around her; of Scott, who was cradling her in his arms but she couldn't feel the warmth of his touch. She didn't feel anything.

As all the feelings in her body was gone, it didn't pain her to open her eyes. But when she did she not only saw her friends but a light, burning bright above her. She glanced at her loved ones one last time and then gazed into the light, letting it swallow her until there was nothing left. This was the most peaceful moment she'd ever experienced.

But it was soon over, just when she thought she'd found peace. She was back in the world again with the pain and feeling back in her body, but only now, she was standing in a storage area full of wooden boxes waiting to be exported, before a wooden box big enough to trap her. Every part in her body suddenly screamed out to touch the box and even though her mind seeked to find the logic behind this she touched the box; and her stomach lurched. Then she was back in the same place again, except now, it looked different as though suddenly everything was bathed in a dull blue glow, making it look like a bad movie bathed in blue.

At first, she didn't understand where she was. Then, it struck her. This was the place her former best friend Bonnie Bennet had told her about in her little time in Mystic Falls.

This was the other side.
