i never knew there was someone out there like me, who shared my passion for travel and finding new words, i loved the movie Journey to the centre of the earth, finding places no one knew about until one person or a group of people found them, me and my dad would go sailing for months on end in the summer break and just go to all new places together, you see my mum died when i was very little she was like me and had wanted to see the world she told me she wanted that for me to find my own adventures, discover new things to see, which is why me and my dad do this every summer when school ends, we take our boat and go travelling, we camp under the stars and just enjoy the quiet. When i met Anna it was so great to find someone my age who wanted the same thing, we would play games in the garden, we would either call it Anna land or Katy land , it seems silly now but we both loved it. We would both sit in geography class and write about places that we wanted to see or go to, we would write little pretend diary entries of places we had been "Today me and Anna found this island, it was scary but it looked like no one had ever been there, it had white sand, palm trees but we found this cave it was very dark so we had to use fire torches , the cave had writing on the walls , which looked like clues" our teacher loved our stuff and was always exicted to see where we went next and then our teacher gave us this book which would change our lives.
