Ch.2 The Royal Guard Of Friendship

Years later, StarBurst is walking around in her moms castle looking through doors. As she walks through the halls yelling mom she bumps into her dad Flash Sentry. "Oh hi sweetie, what are you looking for" Flash asks. "I'm looking for mom have you seen her" StarBurst says. "Yes, she's in the main room planning for her and her friends to go on a next friendship journey" Flash replies. "Oh yeah I forgot, why didn't I think of that" StarBurst says. "Thanks dad see you later" StarBurst says heading to the main room. "see you later dear" Flash says walking away.

StarBurst walks to the doors of the main room and opens them. Twilight looks up from the cutie maps she was setting up and sees her daughter. "hello honey" Twilight says with a smile on her face. "hi mom" StarBurst says walking to Twilight. The to walk over and sit down by the cutie map. "So what's up" says Twilight with a serious face. "Well mom, it's about me becoming a princess" StarBurst says with a trying to be serious face. "oh are you worried" Twilight says confused. "no its about if I want to become a princess" says StarBurst . "Oh are you really excited and can't wait" Twilight asks. "No" shouts StarBurst. "then what is it" says Twilight as she uses magic to lift books and saddle bags in the air. StarBurst breaths in and out trying to get the words out of her mouth. "I wanna to become a royal guard instead" says StarBurst.

Twilight drops all the books she was levitating and makes a shocked face. "You know that's a very dangerous job right. You could get hurt" Twilight says worried. "I know mom but over the years I've studied more to be guard and I really want to" StarBurst says. Twilight looks at her daughter then looks at one of the books that she was levitating that opened. It was the page about the elements of harmony. A sparkle twinkles in Twilight's eyes and she comes up with a plan. "So you really wanna be a royal guard" Twilight asks. StarBurst nods her head yes. "Then I want you to retrieve the elements of harmony" says Twilight. StarBurst gasps as Twilight grabs her saddle bag. "But I thought the elements needed to stay in the tree to protect it and help it grow" says StarBurst . "That was many years ago the tree is energized to the fullest it's fine and if wanna be a royal guard you have to help a princess" says Twilight as she puts StarBurst saddle bag full of stuff on StarBurst. "Okay i'll do it" says StarBurst in a more confident voice. "Okay good luck dear and I want you to remember this magic doesn't always come from the horn" says Twilight.

StarBurst then exits the castle and flys off. StarBurst goes through her bag as she's flying to see what her mother packed her and doesn't really see much but some water, food, and the element of harmony book. StarBurst then looks up and sees her friend Turquoise Blitz flying to his mom's, Rarity, workshop. He then turns and sees StarBurst . He then begins to fly to her instead. "Hey StarBurst what's up" Turquoise Blitz says. "Hey Turquoise Blitz"  says StarBurst . "Where are you flying to with your saddle bag" Turquoise Blitz questions her. "Well my mom sent me to retrieve the elements of harmony from the tree of harmony. Although I don't know how I will be able to" Says StarBurst . "Well maybe I can help you I don't have much to do in my mom's workshop and I love helping a friend in need" says Turquoise Blitz smiling. "ok I would love the help" says StarBurst smiling as well. The two then fly of to go to the tree of harmony but as they do the half of the element of generosity in the book begins to glow.

The two fly for a bit and see not much happening In ponyville. Just then a rainbow streak zooms through the air knocking StarBurst and Turquoise Blitz to the ground. Turquoise Blitz falls in a bush while StarBurst lands on a blueish -sorta white pony. The pony that caused them to fall goes down and helps them. "Hey what is-" StarBurst stops. She sees that the pony that knocked her down was her best friend Prism Bolt . "PRISM BOLT it's so great to see you" StarBurst said excitedly. Prism Bolt pulls her off the pony she fell on and gives StarBurst a hug. But that blueish-sorta white pony was actually Dove Blueblood. "Stay off of me" Dove screams. Dove then looks and sees StarBurst and gives StarBurst a glare. "Ugh stay away from me StarBurst" Dove says in a mad tone. Dove then looks around StarBurst and sees she has saddle bags. "What are you doing with saddle bags , probably running away aren't you" Dove says. "No I'm going to become a royal guard by getting the elements of harmony" replies StarBurst. Dove is shocked at what she just heard and then laughs. "Your going to fail so miserably. You are never gonna get them out of the tree. "Don't talk to her that way" says Prism Bolt. Dove looks at Prism Bolt and smiles. "Prism Bolt you shouldn't being hanging around with those two you should be hanging cool ponies like me" says Dove. Prism Bolt looks behind Dove and sees her friends laughing at him. "See by hanging out with them your making yourself look lame" says Dove. "So what is it hang out with them or the cool ponies" says Dove with an evil grin on her face. Prism Bolt looks back at his friends and then looks back at Dove. "I'm staying with my friends" says Prism Bolt. "So you wanna hang out with a half dragon half pony and the worst to be royal guard ever" says Dove stomping her hoove. Prism Bolt looks at his friends again and sees StarBurst crying. "Yes because they are the best friends you could ever have" says Prism Bolt going to hug StarBurst. Dove scowls at all of them and leaves. "Thanks Prism Bolt for sticking up for us" says StarBurst with tears rolling down her face. "I will always be with my friends" says Prism Bolt hugging StarBurst. Then the element of loyalty in the book glows.

The three continue their way to the tree with StarBurst still crying. Just then they see their friend Cotton Candy and Mayflower  walking together. Both Cotton Candy and MayFlower see StarBurst crying and run over to her. "what happened" questions Cotton Candy. Prism Bolt explains everything and Cotton Candy and Mayflower  look at each other with an idea. So Cotton Candy and Mayflower  do what they both do best, laughter and kindness. Cotton Candy makes silly faces and tells jokes to make StarBurst have a smile on her face. StarBurst starts laughing but still has tears on her face. Mayflower  then levitates a tissue she happened to have and picks a flower from the ground and gives the tissue and flower to StarBurst. StarBurst smiles and hugs Cotton Candy and Mayflower. "So Prism Bolt told us your heading to the tree of harmony, can we come too" asks Mayflower. "Of course you guys are my friends" says StarBurst. As all 5 walk to the tree of harmony the element of laughter and the element of kindness light up in the book.

The 5 of them are making there way to the tree as the approach the everfree forest. "Do we really have to go through t-there" says Mayflower backing away slowly. "Um....Maybe there's another way around" says StarBurst looking around. Just then their friend Crystal Clarity (Turquoise Blitz's sister) is running up to them. "Turquoise Blitz where have you been mom's been getting worried" says Crystal Clarity. "I wanted to help my friends, it's more important helping them then being a model for mom's cloths" says  Turquoise Blitz. "But she doesn't know where you are" says Crystal Clarity trying to move Turquoise Blitz. "Well your in luck because none of us wanna go through the everfree forest" says Turquoise Blitz. Crystal Clarity looks at the Everfree forest and then looks back at the 5. "You guys don't wanna go because it looks scary, well our parents have been through much worse. I know you guys can make it through this no problem you just gotta try. If are parents can do it so can you" says Crystal Clarity in a motivational voice. Everyone starts cheering and one by one the 5 enters the everfree forest. "Where do you think your going" says Crystal Clarity stopping Turquoise Blitz. "Helping my friends like you just did, come on you should really join us , just tell mom with your magic we are helping are friends" says Turquoise Blitz walking away. Crystal Clarity thinks for a second and decides to stay with her friends. Just then the other half of the element of generosity glows in the book.

The 6 walk through the forest looking around for the tree of harmony. "All I see is trees and vines" says Prism Bolt flying. "of course it's a forest" says StarBurst trying to find the elements of harmony. As they walk a streak of Brownish- orange runs across the path putting a bunch of vines in the way. "Hey who did that" says Turquoise Blitz. They look around and find Golden Apple trying to sneak away. "Hey Golden Apple did you do this" asks StarBurst confused. Golden Apple backs away faster. Crystal Clarity moves the vines with her magic and everyone runs after Golden Apple. "Come back we're your friends" says StarBurst running faster. Finally they catch up to him and tackle him. "Why were you running from us" says StarBurst out of breath. "And why were you setting up vines" says Crystal Clarity also out of breath. " Fine you want the truth" says Golden Apple laying on the ground. Everyone nods there head yes. "Dove told me to stop you so that you couldn't become royal guard. She said if I did do it she would give me some bits so that I can buy more apple seeds for my parents farm and save it" says Golden Apple. "We are happy you told us. Now we know what's going on and now we are not mad at you anymore. We know you were trying to save the apple farm and whenever we get the chance we'll help you" says StarBurst helping Golden Apple up. "So your not mad at me anymore" says Golden Apple. "we're not mad at you anymore" says StarBurst hugging Golden Apple. Everyone gets in a group hug and then continues on with finding the tree of harmony. The element of honesty then glows in the book.

After walking for a while they finally find the tree of harmony. They all walk into the cave where the tree of harmony is and see all the elements."There they are" says StarBurst approaching the tree. StarBurst flys up to the element of magic which is located in the middle of the tree. "So StarBurst how are you gonna get the elements out of the tree" says Mayflower  in her soft country accent. "Those elements are mine" says Dove at the entrance of the cave.

"Dove! What are you doing here" says StarBurst. "Stoping you from becoming to powerful that I can't even become the most powerful" says Dove as she flips back her hair. "It's not going to happen" says StarBurst flying in front of the tree of harmony. "If I can't get them out of the tree what makes you think that you can" says StarBurst. "Because I have one thing you don't have, Magic!" says Dove. Dove uses her magic to pull all the elements out of the tree of harmony. The elements begin circling around dove rapidly..................
