"And fourth, you're gonna think that you fixed yourself.

Day 63. Selena stared intensely at the half-drawn canvas, filling in shades of color she found appropriate as light music of her favorite band, the 1975, played in the background. She was currently working on an elaborate dress design she named, "Happily." It was flowy and elegant, radiating free-spirited passion. The piece was one shouldered, and the upper top part of the body was criss-crossed whilst the bottom sprawled out like light drapes, all with various combinations of yellow, orange, and red, like fiery love.

"It's gorgeous," a deep voice interrupted her thoughts as she turned around after shading the last corner of the bottom left.

"Hey Tyler," she softly smiled at her friend who placed a bowl of hot macaroni and cheese, which was littered with freshly chopped green onions and bacon bits.

"I can see your collection for the Holiday fashion show will be amazing," he commented as he took a seat by her as she completed the 6th addition to her work. For every dress she created, there was an equivalent male outfit matching it. In this case, it was a plain combination of red jeans and a black pocket tee with fire designs on the pocket.

"Thanks," Selena set aside her handiwork and turned to her ceramic bowl of food, content for once. Her designs contained more feelings and more stories than anyone could imagine; though to everyone else, they were just beautiful pieces of art and fashion.

"Did you get a date for the fashion show?"

"Do I need one?" Selena groaned as she was reminded of the necessity she often disregarded. Until now, it was never a problem; Harry was always her date, period.

"No," she sighed.

"It's coming up, Sel," Tyler reminded her as he drummed his fingers on Selena's desk, occasionally watching her scoop a spoonful of pasta.

"I know. Do you want to go, as friends?" she gave a weak smile.

"If you really want to," he shrugged. He had planned to go with one of the models, Crystal, but he realized she may be busy showcasing the outfit and plus, Selena was his best friend, so why not?

"Thanks Ty," she dropped her spoon back into the bowl and stood up to hug the taller build. Despite all the lingering thoughts of Harry in one day, not a single tear was shed. She was too determined in making this presentation her best now with the deadline coming up to dwell in her tragic love story. And just maybe, she was slowly fixing herself.

It's been 2 months and two weeks since Selena left. Jesus.

"And here," Harry tilted his face to accommodate the photographer's directions. After he was told that his job was done for the day, Harry happily returned to the lounge where the boys were gossiping about the other models whilst eating.

"Hey Harry," Liam greeted warmly, pushing a tray of hot noodles toward him as Harry thanked him appreciatively. The minute Harry settled down, Louis leaned over excitedly, with his elbows on the table, his head resting in his palms.

"So, that annual Holiday Fashion Show is coming up," he brought up which Harry mindlessly nodded.

"Yes," the curly haired boy was well aware of the highly notorious event; women and men from all over the world traveled to the destined spot each year to observe the amazing productions of their partners in passion. This year, it happened to be in Los Angeles. Although it brought about a slightly competitive edge to the atmosphere, most of the designers actually get along rather well and instead, find comfort and genuine interest in each other's work. Of course, the most favorable designs were sponsored by more supporting organizations which pushed the sole ambition to impress.

Harry would know. He watched Selena design every single outfit for the past four years.

Despite the ache in his heart, he has managed to not cry. He needed to realize that Selena was serious about leaving; the time apart proved it true. His eyes had grown dry from constant crying and his smile just wasn't as attractive as before—not because he grew uglier in any way, but because it wasn't genuine anymore.

Designers were telling him that he was lacking in his performance and degrading their hard work, which stung him more than he thought. It was time to get his life slightly back on track; he began waking up early for a jog in the freezing London. The cold motivated him to move faster and the physical pain his exposed skin felt from the chilly air temporarily numbed the emotional and mental anguish.

"Did you get a date?" Zayn piped up when Harry snapped out of his thoughts.

"Uh, yeah," his tone dropped. He first asked Cara, a model who he knew Selena was jealous of and just didn't want to admit. She had been in the industry longer than him and of course Harry's natural charm automatically made the two of them friends. They went out to bonding events and though Selena never mentioned anything, it killed her inside. She wasn't a model; she felt like she couldn't compete with the tall, gorgeous blonde. Little did she know, the only female Harry has eyes on is a stunning brunette, who makes the dresses the blonde wears.

"Who?" Niall curiously pressed.

"Cara," he semi-lied. She agreed to enter the place with him, but then informed him that after the modeling begins, she had to separate. Apparently, she was secretly dating an American model named Drew and they had planned to be each other's dates after they were both done on the runway. Fortunately, people usually dispersed and just partied afterwards before the speeches and acknowledgement ceremony began, so everyone is too scatter-minded to give a shit about who your date was. The only time people were aware of who you came with was the entrance.

"Nice," Louis patted Harry on the back as he tried to smile. He can do it. Right?
