05 | Car Ride Home

《 Cat's P.O.V 》

"I'll be home with the medicine for mama." She spoke. I quickly looked at Jovani who looked at me as well.

"Okay, bye." She said then hang up. She turned around while putting her phone back in her pocket.

"I uhm...kinda need to go." She said quietly.

"It's okay. Just change and one of the boys will drop you off." Cat said.

"I will drop you off." Jovani said almost immediately.

"I don't want to be a bother to you-"

"No it's okay, go change." Jovani said. She nodded and we left the bathroom.

"Zach, you're so stupid." I laughed.

"Yes, rub it in." He said sarcastic.

"We better be do our homework before she comes." Ari said.

"No, someone called and now she need to go." Jovani sigh.

"Who called her?" Weston asked.

"Dickhead." He replied.

"Woah, ouch." Weston said, holding his chest en pretending to be hurted.

"No, the person who called her was named dickhead." I said.

"So what now?" Ariel asked.

"I don't know." Julian sigh.

Right at that moment, Demi walked in. She had her wet cloths in her hands and her hair was styled in a messy hairbun.

"I'm so sorry." Zach said.

"It's okay." Demi replied.

"You're ready?" Jovani asked and she nodded.

"We're so sorry that we didn't do our homework. Maybe next time?" Ari asked. She nodded and grabbed her back.

"Well, um...see ya guys." She said.

"Bye." We all said and waved her goodbye.

《 Demilia's P.O.V 》

I sat down in the passenger seat while Jovani was starting the engine. I closed the door and placed my bag between my feet.

"So, where do you live?" Jovani asked.

"Can we go past the drugstore, if you can?" I asked and he nodded.

"Yeah, sure." The car started moving and a silence fell between us. I looked outside the window, waiting until the drugstore got in sight.

"We're here." Jovani said.

"Thanks, I just need to get something." I stepped out of the car and ran inside the drugstore.

I went to the counter where you can pick up your ordered medicine, so I went to the queue.

"Hey, I'm here to pick up the order by the name of Tuckers?" I asked.

"Yeah, hold on." The lady said. I was about to grab the money out of my pocket, but then I realised that I have Cat's cloths on.

"Damnit!" I cursed.

"That'll be ten dollars please." The lady said.

"I-"

"Here you go." Out of a sudden, Jovani was standing next to me. He gave the lady a ten dollar bill then grabbed the white paper bag.

The lady winked at me, smirking with as she knows exactly that I know what she means.
