but stop now and tell me what time it is
stop now to tell me what call was last
Get going give some fizz
stop now to say what you eat
stop now to let me speak.
Life progresses, so they say,
Yet interruption has become OK,
it used to be while others worked you did not invade.
Now focus and silence are never allowed
always a call that must be heard.
No matter who it is or why, trivial or not
concentration is lost at another's whim.
The same boss who demands results, spend more time interrupting
than ever assisting the job in hand.
