"Aaaah" screams Clarrisa as she walks into her house and finds all her friends there screaming surprise. "What are you guys doing here, Jamie I thought you said you were leaving to Esedon this morning so I had to fill in for you today at the bakery." I said as I found my best friend in front of the whole crowd.

"Well to start with, I had to tell you I was leaving so you wouldn't talk to me all day." replied Jamie with a huge smile on her face.

"Then why did you make me fill in for you today at the bakery." I said frowning

"Clarrisa, I didn't feel like going to work today so... no I'm just kidding, I needed you out of the house so I could decorate this." Jamie said pointing at the decorations around the house.

"Well as much as I hate you right now you know there is a part of me that still loves you."  I replied with a sarcastic tone.

"C'mon lighten up Clar its your party, I'm leaving forever tomorrow and I'll probably see once every bazillion years." said Jamie sadly.

"Jamie, you know we promised to send each other a letter everyday, so we will still basically talk to each other when you come every weekend right." I said with a hopeful smile.

"Yeah about that, I was meaning to tell you that I won't be able to come back to Esedon, due to the long term contract I might have signed without reading it all, I found this out about two weeks ago and couldn't find the right time to tell you. I'm leaving at sun rise tomorrow." Jamie said looking down.

"What, why didn't you tell me this before. How could you Jamie? I thought we were friends, I thought we were best friends. Get out. Everyone thanks for coming. Party over." I heard lots of murmurs and groans but I couldn't think , how could Jamie do this to me. She was leaving and never coming back. She knew how much I cared about her and she didn't even think about my feelings.

I run to my room on the top floor. I jump on my bed and scream into the pillow. Why would she do this to me, how  come she would leave me like this. Questions ran across my head, soon enough I found myself asleep. *Knock knock* I wake up in a jolt to hear tapping across the front door. I look out my window to see who would come at this time of night. I see a strange man wearing a cloak with the Esedenian crest on it. Maybe it was a message from Jamie that she had gotten there safely. But no something was wrong, this man's cloak was blue. Which means he was one of the King's personal guards. Why would the King's personal guard come to our front door at this time of night. Simon, Iris' husband, opened the door. "Yes, how may I help you, and may I ask why would you visit someone at this time of night." Said someone rubbing his eye, clearly, he had just waken up from a deep sleep. He yawned one more time and looked at the guard clearly and froze in shock.
