The teenage boy sits with the love of his life next to him and, her father across from him. This isn't the first time he has had dinner with her father but, her mother was always there. The father looks back every now and then looking for his wife. Even when they all were eating he looked back to the door. The dad smiled and tipped the waiter and told his daughter and her boyfriend that he's going to walk home and, for them to go see a movie or something. She asked if she could stay the night over at Derik's the father looks over at Derik and sighs and, nods walking away and home. Derik sighs and looks over at Janet. "Your father hates me." she sighs and eats her pizza. Janet holds his hand as he eats the rest of his food. The get into the car and Derik drives her to his house. They walk into his house his father instantly sits down and looks at Janet and Derik's mom stand up from the ground and walks over to Derik. "I hope to two had a good night see you guys in the morning." Janet and Derik both nod and walk into his room. She sighs and turns off the music and turn on a movie. She pulls Derik down onto his bean bag chair and she snuggles into a ball as he covers her in a blanket. She naps as he smokes his cigarette and watches the movie. After the movie he moves the both of them to the bed and she snuggles up to him sleeping happily. Most of the day went well. Janet called her father and was able to stay another night. The couple mostly stayed in Derik's room watching movies and cuddling in the bean bag chair. Dinner...that's when stuff went from alright to well hide. The father has been drinking and well he's never once liked his wife's food. She walks up to him with his plate and waits until he eats a piece just for him to be able to hit her because if he has to stand he'll beat her. Like every other day the father back handed his wife and Janet yepped like a scared animal and she clings to Derik. The father looks over at the girl and smirks. "Want me to hit you too?" she shakes her head and hides behind Derik. "Then get out of her the both of you..I need to do something with her." He point to his wife as she stands and she pushes the two of them out handing Derik his keys and a $50. "See you two in the morning." She gives a little smile and closes and locks the door. "Where do you want to go for dinner?" He sigh and she smiles. "Can we have pizza?" He laughs and nods. They get in a car and start the car.
