I used to be a voracious reader. I loved books, I lived for books! Summer was also the time of the year my mom absolutely hated - just because of the sheer number of times she had to drive me to the library - which meant everyday, literally! One time, she tried getting me five books together so she could get a weeks' respite but Nada ! I had read it all within 24 hours - I was the devils' child in terms of devouring books ! It was during one such summer that I first read 'Eat.Pray.Love.' by Liz Gilbert. This book was different from my usual collection of chicklits, young adult novels -it was a non-fiction, for christs' sakes ! Even then, it struck a chord - those windy streets of Italy, delicious gelatos and pizzas from Naples and that quaint little lingerie shop hiding behind the corner - they all beckoned me to Europe ! And here I am today, six years later, on the first stop of my European jorney - in Berlin - all giddy like a two year old who just tasted chocolate icecream ! Just like Liz, I plan to a clearer picture of my life in Europe
