I'd never wondered things about myself before, but you made me. Were my eyes gray like yours? Did I have a golden crown of hair like you did? Were we different? You were much taller than me. You smelled different. You couldn't talk properly, you and the Talls, but the sounds you made were always kind.  

I wanted to make you as happy as I was. You sighed sometimes. 

Often, one of the Talls would sit with you at a table and you would look at papers and books and things I couldn't understand, but wished I could.
