Ji soo and Jong suk both witness the slap the Seong Im mother gave her. Ji soo step up to the fight.

" What do you think your doing?"- Ji soo

" Who are you to bug into me and my daughter business?"

" I'm-"

" Ji soo ah.. don't bump in.. go over there for a bit."

Ji soo looks at Seong im, worriedly. Jong suk came and took Ji soo away.

" WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL ME!!"

" Do you think I want to call you?"

" What do you mean! I am your mom! If anything happen you could of call me!"

" So what if I call? Even if I call your not going to come, so why will I call you?"

Seong Im mom slap her again.

" Do you think your a grown up?"

Seong Im anger rises.

" Your right! i'm not a grown up! but what about you and dad! If you were home with Ahjumma, this wouldn't happen! You and dad always see work before everything!"

" We are working to feed you!"

" ANI!!(NO), you and dad are working to get money for your self!!!! You guys want to look great to all those people that have look down on you! Have you guys ever come home and see Ji Hyo? Have you guys ever come home and ask if Ji hyo was okay! If you guys did! if you guys have just come home to check! She wouldn't be like this! because of dad and your selfishness! Others people are hurt!"

Seong Im couldn't keep anything in anymore. She have kept all her wounds in for so long that she let it all out.

" Did you know why I left for America!!? I left because I thought that maybe if I go there, you and dad will stop working and finally have someone or something to brag about and you and dad will be home more often to take care of us instead! You and dad have never sit next to me and Ji hyo and ask how school was going!?"

" Your father and I-"

" Did you know how I feel when I look at others with their family? they were laughing and having fun so why can't I also? Why can't Ji hyo and I have that kind of life! That kind of life that our whole family have fun and smile! But there was never a day like that! Did you also know how I fell when my teacher to write something for our parents? I hated it. There was nothing to write about you and dad!! NOTHING!!!"

Seong Im's mom can only look at Seong Im, speechless. 

" Every year when it is our birthday, have you guys ever taken the time to think about us? You guys have never! Never ever have you guys celebrate our birthdays! Ji hyo and I sat at the door waiting for you and dad to come home but there was no one, the only doorbell that came was from Ahjumma!! She was the only one that celebrate our birthday." 

Seong Im looks at her mother with tears in her eyes.

" I don't even want to call you mom anymore...."

Seong Im's mom phone ring and she answers it quickly, Seong Im let out a sigh in disbelief. 

" Hello?"

" Omah(mom).. have you even hear everything I said.."

Her mom didn't answer and kept talking onto the phone. Seong Im went to her,  grab her phone and threw it on the ground.

" WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

" Did you even hear all the things I said!! Have you even think about it!?"

Seong Im'm mom avoided the question and went to grab her phone.

" When ahjumma and Ji hyo wakes up, I'm going to take them back to America with me."

Her mom looks at her but she just walk past her mom and acted like nothing was wrong. She walks out to find Jong suk and Ji soo outside. She wipes her tears and walk to them as if nothing happen.

" Ji hyo ah.. what happen?"-Jong suk

" Nothing happen."

She smiled and weak smile.

" Liar."-Ji soo

Seong Im burst out into tears at the words, she couldn't keep in anything right now. Jong suk went to comfort her but Ji soo stares at her.

" I didn't know it then but now I know that ji hyo wasn't perfect. All this time I thought she was but she wasn't. She was just a girl trying to succeed just like me, just trying to impress her family. Why was I so cold to her when she was this hurt? I was so cold to a really warm person like her. How much have she been through? Why is she crying like a fool right here? What happen to her that makes her cry like this? I wanted to know these things........" -Ji soo( in his mind)
