A Day Of Peace...Or Not

Sabrina's pov

I laid there motionless on my bed, my breath steadily going up and down. "HONEY COME EAT." me mom yelled from downstairs. Geez I'm not that hungry. I don't eat much to be honest with you, my stomach is small but it keeps me healthy .I get up out of bed and walked downstairs into the kitchen. Everything smelt amazing but I still wasn't very hungry. I put some mashed potatoes and a few carrots on my plate. That's all I plan to eat I'll my Mom flopped a pork-chop down on my plate and I sigh. "I'm not hungry..." I sighed again "that's what you say every night Sabrina you need to eat!" She pesters even more. "Oh and Sabrina, any luck with finding your mate? It's about time you take over." I shook my head and continued eating slowly. "Anything from your brother?" I shook my head again. Ace didn't like talking to mum and dad about his problems, instead he came to me. I listened and he talked. That's what siblings do, at least that's what I do for him. "I want him to come home.. I want to hug him I want to know that I actually have a brother!" I yelled not to loud but loud enough that they heard me. I looked at the time after dinner, 8:56pm? I'll go to bed early because I'm tired from taking on kids and novices today, tomorrow I get pup duties. Yay!  I may seem cold hearted but I love the pups, they are sooooooo cute. I excuse myself from the table and walk in my room. I close my door and lay in bed till I fall asleep.

I grab my skateboard out of the garage while Skyler pulls up with hers beside me.  We always ride to school together since it's like down the road. "Morning, how'd you sleep last night?" I said in my normal quiet tone. "Great actually, you?" I sighed a bit "I'm stressing over all the exams coming up next week, plus my parents are bugging me about finding my mate and taking over BloodStone. " I shrugged and skated off with skyler hot on my tail. "Don't worry your the schools best warrior so I think you'll be fine, right?" She said in a cheerful voice. I was happy as we headed to the pup pen. I changed and shifted in the bathroom inside and walked out. Everyone looked at me while all the pups ran up to me "Sabwena!" One yelled "yay sabrina home!" Another yelled from behind me. I picked a few up in my mouth, same goes for Skyler she helps out on Wednesday mornings and afternoons but she has to leave before last class. I laid down on the grass and all the pups laid around us. "Wanna hear a story guys?" They all looked up at me tiredly but they paid attention. And so I told the story.

We were all peacefully asleep as one of the pups nudged my nose which caused me to wake up. "Yea?" I looked up with a smile. "Uh... I don't have a mommy... And everyone else is going home for lunch..." He looked about ready to cry. I curled my tail around him and he snuggled into my chest fur. I cuddled him till he fell asleep. "I'll take care of you ok?" He murmured an 'ok' and fell back asleep. Then I smelt that scent of Pine and maple again but this time I got up and slowly dropped the pup on my back as I slowly started walking down the halls following the scent, when I reached where the scent was coming from I was only a metre away from the one and only.. Playboy Alec Rogers!? Your kidding me. I agree he's about as strong as me but my mate is Alec freaking Rogers!?!?
I was about to turn around when he Growled "mine" I turned around to face him the pup still on my back asleep. I set down my sweater and place him on top of it. I shift back into human form and face Alec. "I am not your property understand? I am your mate and you are mine..." I growled silently. He looked up and smiled at me. "YOU WHORE WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO SEDUCE MY MAN? YOU SLUT." I stood there about to Rip her face off as I backed away from Alec. "Alec baby why won't you pay attention to me?" She said trying to get his attention that was currently on me. I picked up the pup which I don't know the name of yet and start walking down the hall back to the pup pen. When I hear him yell out my name. "Sabrina!  Wait come back!" I continued walking till he got to me. "What? Why don't you go sleep with Lilla or something? I'm obviously not needed!" I said coldly. "Look it was only one time I swear Sabrina! And now she thinks I'm all hers and that I'm her mate. Which you are not her I know I'm not stupid" I walked into the bathroom quick and shifted, he waited at the door till I came out then he did the same and I waited."so what exactly are you doing with that pup?" He asked curiously. "He's my own now. I said I'd take care of him." He nodded and we walked in silence. "He's waking up Sabrina" he said nudging my side for me to stop. I stopped and set him down on my sweater I currently had in my mouth again. "Where am I?" He said. "Hey pup, I forgot to ask your name.." I said sweetly "it's Jake. But everyone calls me Jay." I nodded as he stood up from my sweater and I put it back on my back. Jake walked with us down and up the halls. "why did you want to take care of me....what's your name?" I looked down at Jake, "it's Sabrina and the reason is because one you are so cute two because your sweet and three because you need someone to care for you." He nodded and stared at the ground. "are you going to say something Alec? Or just follow me around like a weird stalker would do to their crush?" He looked at me and pecked my muzzle before ran to his next class."let's go to my house Jake, after we'll go shopping for clothes ok?" He nodded and we walked home. He is my pup now...
