*CHAPTER FOUR*

I wake up to the sound of my phone chiming.  I look at it to see a text.

Unknown: hey

Me: hey, who's this?

Unknown: Hanna

Me: hey, what's up?  How'd you get my number?

Hanna: from Ty.  Anyways, wanna hang out today?

How'd Ty get my number???

Me: sure.  I'll be there around 11

Hanna: See you soon

I drag myself out of bed and into the bathroom.  I brush my teeth and hair.  When I'm finished, I go back into the bedroom and find some clothes to wear.

I end up wearing a 'Black Veil Brides' band t-shirt, ripped blue jeans, and maroon Vans.

"Andy?" I ask, as I knock on his bedroom door.  "You in there?"  No answer.  I knock again.  Still no answer.  I open the door to find not only Andrew sleeping, but some random girl with her arm hooked around him.  Neither of them budge.  Oh well.

Me: hey, can you pick me up?  Andrew can't drive me.  He's a little occupied...

Hanna: sure, be there in a little while

***

I hear a knock at the door.  "It's open!" I yell to Hanna.  The door opens to reveal someone else.  "You're not Hanna..." I say, confused.  "Thank you, captain obvious."

"What are you doing here?" I ask Ty.  "Awe, babe, you don't wanna see me?  I thought we had something special... you know..."  "Um, no.  Anyways, where's Hanna?" I ask.  "She had to take care of something.  I'm taking you to meet her."

"She didn't tell me you were coming," I say to him.  "Yeah, I figured that out," he said, with a heavy British accent.  I had never noticed his accent before.  "I didn't know you had an accent..." I note.  "You must have been too distracted by my sexy, irresistable body," he winks at me.  Gross.

I ignore his arrogant comment and grab my phone off the counter.  "Well anyways, are you ready to go?" he asks me.  "Yeah."  "Wait, wait, wait... where's Andy?"  "Um, upstairs with some chick."

He starts for the stairs, walking at a somewhat, fast pace.  "Wait, where are you going?  Did I mention he's sleeping?"  I follow him up the stairs.  He knocks on Andy's door, but there's no answer.

"Mate, it's me, Ty."  No answer.  He raises his hand to knock again, but I grab his arm.  He looks at me, and starts to push me away, but his body follows.  Just like deja vu, I'm up against the wall again and Ty is pressed into me, his face close to mine.

"Now, Darling, we don't want a repeat of yesterday, right?"  "N-no."  "Good."  He doesn't make an effort to move, but just stands there, staring at me.

"What's going on here?"  I jump at the sound of Andy's voice.  Uh, oh.

"It's not what it looks like," I spit out, embarrassed.  He looks to Ty for an answer.  "Yeah, mate, I tripped."  "Sure," Andy replies, obviously not believing him.  It doesn't help that I look guilty.

Andy starts to shake his head.  "Nuh, uh.  This one's not available to you.  You're not going anywhere near Jackie."

Ty nods.  "Nah, dude, she's not my type."

I feel something... I don't know what it is though.

***

After the encounter with Andy and Ty, Ty and I leave to go meet Hanna.

The ride is silent, which is unusual for Ty, since he has such a big mouth.  I'm so shocked, I almost want to break the silence just for it to feel normal, but I don't.

He finally speaks.

"So, why are you so quiet, BabyDoll?"  "I don't feel like talking."  He doesn't respond, but turns on the radio.  I guess it's a rock channel, because "Fallen Angels" by Black Veil Brides is playing.

I start to nod my head.  "So... Black Veil Brides, huh?"  "I guess," I say, trying to seem casual.  "I've seen them in concert," he says.  NO WAY.  NOT FAIR.  "So have I," I lie.  No need for him to know that I've never been to a concert before.

He doesn't speak again.

***

Tyler's phone buzzes and he grabs it.  He's so concentrated on his phone, I think he might hit something.

His facial expression changes.  He seems distraught.

"Everything okay?" I ask.  He clears his throat as if I just caught his attention unexpectedly.  "Uh, yeah.  Um... Hanna can't meet you today.  She has something going on.  Sorry your plans are cancelled."

"No, it's okay.. is she okay, though?"  "Um, she will be."  I don't comment.

"So, do you want me to just take you back home then?  Or... are you hungry?"  "I could eat, I guess."  "What do you want?" he asks.  "I don't care," I say, just messing with him.  He knows it, too.

He smiles a little bit then turns the car around.

We pull into a fancy-looking restaurant.  One I've never heard of.  I feel underdressed.

I don't ask about the food.  I decide to wait and see for myself.

***

"and... what will the lady have?" the waiter asks.  "She would like-"  "I would like the alfredo please?"  The waiter looks shocked.  "What? Am I not allowed to order for myself?"  I say as I look up at him.

The waiter goes away to give the chef our orders and Ty stares at me.  "What?" I ask.  "This is a sophisticated restaurant.  That's how the ordering goes here."  "Well... I can handle it myself."  He nods and takes a sip of his water.

The food is served to us shortly.  The waiter is still uneasy around me and gives me a few dirty glances.  I couldn't care less.

hanna: sorry about ditching.  something came up.

me: no it's cool.  Ty told me you had to deal with something.  hope everything is okay.

I didn't get another text from her.

***

"That was soooooo good," I say, wiping my mouth with my napkin.  "We should do this aga-"  "Don't even finish that sentence.  This was a one-time thing.  It's never happening again."  "Awe, Dollface, why not?" he says in a little kid voice.  "Because."  "I'll change your mind one of these days."

We get up from the table and start toward the exit.  Coincidentally, I see someone I recognize also walking toward the exit.  "Hanna?"  "Hey," she says casually.  "What are you doing here?  This is the important stuff you had to take care of?"  I start feeling upset and confused.  "You could have just said you didn't want to hang out with me.  It wouldn't have bothered me."

She looks just as confused as I am.  "What are you talking about?" she asks me.  "You texted me, wanting to hang out, then said you had to take care of something..."  She shakes her head 'no'.  Now I'm really confused...
