"Huh? Where the fuck am I?" Karkat sat up and looked around scratching his head. He looked around then heard a faint purr and a small voice.
"K-karkitty?" The olive blood peered around the corner at him, blushing a bit.
"Nepeta! Where have you been!?" Karkat looked startled and happy at the same time, the corners of his mouth turned up a little, his heart beating fast and his cheeks glowing with red blush.
"Karkitty I can't believe it, I was so scared without you...I thought I'd never see you again.." She sighed looking down. She wasn't her usual playful self and Karkat noticed.
"Uhh Nepeta? What's up?" He was worried, he stood up. Something was wrong, very wrong. "What do you mean you thought you'd never see me again? I'm here see!"
The faint sounds of weeping filled the room. Olive coloured tears dropping to the floor. Nepeta falling to her knees and beginning to sob. "I'm sorry." She weeped, sniffling.
He walked over and got on his knees holding her in his embrace. Feeling her small body shiver in his arms. "Hey..Nep it's okay. I'm here now." He smiled then tilting her head up looking into her eyes.
He gasped "W-what..!? No! No! Fuck!" He yelled out. Her eyes were not their normal golden hue, instead they were pitch white. She sat there expressionless. "NEPETA WAKE UP!" he cried out shaking her.
"I'm sorry Karkitty.." She smiled a bit and sighed shakily. "I think you need to wake up."
"Wait..no stop!" She started to fade, tears streaming down his own cheeks. "STOP IT! FUCKING STOP!" He cried and screamed. Once she was faded away he woke up.
Shaking and looking around gasping. "She...she's gone." He held his chest, feeling heavy. Getting up and looking through his room finding her hat with olive bloodstains on it. Hugging it close and silently sobbing to himself. "I loved you Nep..." his tears dripping onto her hat. "I loved you..".
