First Encounter

Around June 2015, BTS released new MV of their second title track from HYYH part 1 album, Dope. They did promotion for music shows, radio etc for around 3 weeks. BTS had gained love not only from SK but also all around the world with their HYYH part 1 album. They even won first place at music shows. At the same time, MAMAMOO also released their 3rd mini album called Pink Funky, with the title track : Um Oh Ah Yeah. This comeback would determine whether MAMAMOO could be one of top girl groups in SK or not.
It was all thanked to Jimin, Taehyung had become MAMAMOO trash for the last five months. He was one of the members at MAMAMOO fancafe. Through fancafe, he could check MAMAMOO update easily, including their schedule. There was one schedule that he really looked forward : His very first encounter with that 'it' girl.

[Show Champion Backstage, Bangtan's waiting room]
"Jiminie, where is Tae?" Jin asked.
"I don't know either" Jimin answered.
"Maybe Tae Hyung is in the bathroom. Why?" Jungkook said.
"Nothing. I'm wondering whether my ipod with him or not". Jin said.
On the hall,
Taehyung still stood up on the hall. He did not know why he felt hesitate to go back to his waiting room.
He read "MAMAMOO" written on the door. Next to him was MAMAMOO'S waiting room.
"Is she inside?" Taehyung thought.
Suddenly, the door's open. Taehyung shocked. First, the manager came out, followed by Yongsun and Moonbyul, three of them talked seriously. They saw Taehyung and bowed immediately. Taehyung also bowed. Then Hyejin came out. She bowed to Taehyung. And the last, Jung Wheein.
"Oh. Hello." Taehyung smiled and greeted Wheein.
"Oh. Ah. Yes. Hello, Sunbaenim." Wheein shocked and bowed awkwardly to Taehyung. She almost said :  Um Oh Ah Yeah.
Wheein passed Taehyung and went to Hyejin.
Taehyung did not realize how he could be brave enough to greet Wheein. He's still amazed. He laid down on the wall.
"Did I just say hello to her? Did I just greet her? Why so sudden. Aish, Taehyung, look at her face. She's so shocked. Why don't you just bow like normally you do???" Taehyung kept hitting his head to the wall.
But slight smile coming from Tae's face.
"But...She should have recognized me after this, right? " Taehyung felt satisfied with that small moment between her and Wheein.
Yes, Taehyung. You left deep impression to Wheein.
"Do you know him?" Hyejin asked.
"BTS sunbaenim, V-ssi." Wheein answered.
"Him as a person, Jung Wheein."
"Ahh.., no. It's the first time I met him."
"Yeah, but he said Hello to you like he knew you."
Wheein agreed with Hyejin. Then, they walked to stage to start their rehearsal.
"That's V-ssi. What was he thinking, greeting me like that..." Wheein smiled a little.
Taehyung came back to his waiting room.
"Tae, where have you been?" Jin asked.
"Bathroom. Ah, here, your ipod. Thanks, Hyung." Taehyung gave Jin's ipod.
"You're welcome. Hurry up, get yourself ready. It's time for us to rehearse." Jin said.

[On rehearsal, BTS stage was set right after MAMAMOO stage]
"We still need to wait a little bit longer, I will check the mic." BTS manager said to Namjoon.
"Yes, Hyung" Namjoon replied.
MAMAMOO was still doing their last rehearsal.
MAMAMOO on Show Champion :
"Waaahh, they're really...fun" Hoseok kept praising.
"They are just like you all." a staff came over.
"Like us?" Taehyung asked.
"Crazy off stage, but a true performer on stage." the staff smiled.
"Ah, that's a compliment, Sunbaenim? Thank you..."Hoseok smiled.
"They even make their special ad-lib for Show Champion. We should treat them better next time. Hehehe". the staff jokingly said.
MAMAMOO finished their rehearsal and checked through monitor regarding their performance.
"The beginning, it's a little bit flat... We should do more expression," Yongsun said.
"Hyejin-ah, please lessen your fatal expression, it's too fatal. Look at that !" Yongsun pointed some of Hyejin's expression on screen.
Wheein looked at the monitor "Hyejin-ah, hahahahahhahahhahaa," she laughed hard.
"Why are you laughing like that? Yaaaa ! Be quiet, it's embarassing !!! "Hyejin tried to cover Wheein's mouth.
"Just... It's just funny ! Kyahahahahaa, kekekekeke" Wheein's teasing Hyejin. She teased Hyejin by mimicking Hyejin's fatal expession.
"This kid %%&*#@$%%" Hyejin hit Wheein.
"Aaaarghhh arrghhhh Unni, she keeps hitting me, help !" Wheein ran around, she kept asking for Yongsun's help but Yongsun just ignored her.
"Kyaaaa Hyejin, your fatal face....Hahahahahahahaha" Wheein kept mimicking Hyejin and she ran again from Hyejin.
She kept running around the backstage area. Her laugh was echoed through the entire area. Everyone could hear it, including Taehyung. Unexpectedly,she stumbled to Taehyung while running around. Taehyung was still waiting for his mic.
"Ouch," Taehyung acted hurt.
"Ah, I'm really sorry, V-sunbaenim" Wheein shocked, bowed, and walked back into Hyejin awkwardly. She called him V-sunbaenim because she hadn't known yet how to call him. Wheein could not lift her face up and wait for his reply due to embarassment. She just went away.
"Yaa, Jung Wheein ! I'm really sorry, V-sunbaenim !" Hyejin half-shouted and bowed 90 degrees.
"Ah, yes." Taehyung replied to Hyejin and smiled.
"Idiot, what were you doing !!! You didn't even wait for his reply. Stupid Jung Wheein. That was so embarassing !" Wheein talked to herself.
"Yaa, Jung Wheein, why were you just running away from him?" Hyejin asked.
"I did not ! I apologized !" Wheein yelled.
"Oops, okay. I thought you didn't...Jung Wheein, don't you ever run from me anymore.." Hyejin teased Wheein and hugged her.
But, Hyejin-ah ! Wheein could not hear you...Her heart, her mind, her body. Shaking. She's embarassed and she ran away from Taehyung because.........
"Shit, I couldn't even lift my face because his face was so close to me !!! He's so... good looking...Gosh !!!" Wheein sighed while watching Taehyung preparing for his stage.
Yes, she turned around to observe the most handsome creature in the world, -- according to her. On the other side, Taehyung kept smiling by himself. "At least, she knew my name".

BTS started their rehearsal for Dope. MAMAMOO was still at the backstage because their manager was discussing some works with Show Champion staff.
"Their song is super catchy.." Hyejin observed BTS performance.
"The beat, the lyrics, the dance...I heard, they are also first place nominees for this week, together with us." Moonbyul's response to Hyejin.
Wheein, was not like usual, she concentrated on someone "Damn, he's definitely different when he's on stage. How can he make such expression? How can he bite his lower lip like that. Oh, gosh. Jung Wheein, what are you thinking?" Wheein poked her face.
She just stared to Taehyung the whole performance.
"Oh my goodness. He's so captivating". Wheein murmured.

BTS stopped their rehearsal due to PD's direction. Taehyung realized that Wheein kept staring at him. He glanced to Wheein and suddenly threw a smile to her. She's frozen while Taehyung continuing his stuff.
"Did...he...just....smile? To me?" Wheein's still in shock.
"Whoaaaa...Jung Wheein !!! You did know him, don't you??" Hyejin realized Taehyung's action.
"What?" Wheein acted innocently.
"Whoaaa this kid..is really...something!" Hyejin amazed.
Wheein just gave naughty smile to Hyejin.

BTS continued their rehearsal. MAMAMOO went back to their waiting room. The live show would began in 2 hours. Both groups needed to do better than the rehearsal. Fans had already entered the venue to cheer their favorite artists. The MC had herself ready for the live show. All the performers had their make-up done. They were ready to rock the stage.
There were five nominees for Show Champion's first place winner, including BTS and MAMAMOO. At the encore stage, BTS and MAMAMOO stood side by side. While waiting for the MC to announce the winner, as usual, MAMAMOO couldn't stay still. This time, they played with Yongsun's hair. Wheein put Yongsun's hair on her and acted like she grew moustache. Taehyung was only around five meters away from her. He just kept staring to what Wheein did. Wheein did feel that someone's watching her, occasionally. But she couldn't do anything due to camera, so she just pretended to play along with her members.

"The first place for this week is .... Apink !!" The MC announced, "Congratulation !!!!"
Apink was crowned as the winner. The group gave their speech. Eunji and friends asked MAMAMOO to stay with them for their encore performance. BTS was the last one to leave the stage. They passed MAMAMOO.
"Unni, let's do the dance together" Hyejin asked Eunji to do Apink's dance together with her.
"Bhahahahahaha, Hyejin-ah!!! What's that..thats too sexy !!!!!" Wheein laughed hard.
"Wait. I can do that." Eunji tried to dance sexily, like Hyejin.
"Unni, stop please. Kyahahahahahaa" Wheein kept laughing. She did not realize Taehyung was right behind her.
"Congratulation, for being the nominees" Taehyung smiled and bowed to her.
"Ah yes, thank you" Wheein replied and bowed. She smiled to Taehyung.
Taehyung had already left the stage, but what did he do with Wheein's heartbeat? That irresponsible fella !!!
"Hyung, why are you look so happy today?" Jungkook's confused.
"Why?" Taehyung grinned.
"That's my question, Hyung. Why?" Jungkook glared.
"Just...." Taehyung did not continue. He walked fast leaving Jungkook alone.
"Jung Wheein, your laugh was..." Taehyung smiled and bite his lip.
This first meeting between Whee and Tae...Will this short encounter bring them closer ?
