25: Knowledge

(Your POV)

     "You know too much." "W-What does that mean!?" "Oh, nothing. I just like scaring people." 

I hissed at Chara. He was pretty annoying at times, but he was good company mostly. I shivered as we returned to the main hall, walking straight into the Cafe. "So... You hurt the monsters?" "I mean, yeah, I had no soul. And no reason to protect the monsters! They killed people!" I sigh, knowing that his point is somewhat valid. "I am still disappointed in you. You could've just trapped them there!" He shook his head. "You can't understand. You weren't there." I nod. We sit down with Frisk, who is chatting with my brother. "Yeah, it's pretty crazy up here!" My brother chimes. Frisk smiles. "Yeah, the surface is veeeeery... different. It used to be more peaceful." Jake tilted his head. "Really? The quiet up here is limited. I don't think it'll last, sadly." Asriel sits down, placing his arm around Chara. "Howdy!" I crack a grin. "Hello. You know Asriel, Chara?" 

     Chara laughs loudly. "KNOW? We're brothers!" Asriel laughs along. I giggle. Then, I stop. "I'll be right back.... Don' t wait up." They nod slowly as I stand and run towards the door. Where is he... Would he want to see me? I step towards his office and sigh loudly, then knock.

Silence. I knock a bit louder. After a moment of hesitation, he says, "Come in." I shakily open the door. G sits at his computer, not taking his eyes after from the screen as he types rapidly. "Hello, Can I help you?" His words are empty. I open my mouth to speak. "Sorry." I say quickly before rushing out. I bolt down the hall, as if I'm trying to leave behind every mistake I've made. I lock myself in my room and curl up in bed. "Dove, you aren't really gonna lock me out, are ya?" I sigh. He's right, I can't. I walk over to the door slowly and open it. "Doll-- (Y/N). Something happened. You HAVE to see this." I nod, following him. He shows me a... Portal?!

As I walk towards it, I realize that inside, I see... me. But wearing strange sweaters. What the... I see... Sans. But shorter. And different. I reach my hand out. Sans attempts to grab me...

And the world spins.
