Chapter 7

-Two Weeks Later-

"I can't do this," I told Fiona who was curling my hair. "I can't go to this premiere. Call Liam or Erika and say I can't go. I had a family emergency or something." Liam was taking me to the premiere of Suicide Squad here in London tonight. Modest had decided it was time to announce our relationship. While I was very excited for the movie to finally be out, I was freaking out about going public. Liam and I still weren't close although he'd been over a couple more times with Andy.

"Kris, you can't back out of this. You know that," Fiona replied as she finished my hair. I whined and pouted. Normally I wouldn't care but I was not looking forward to all the hate I'd get for being Liam's girlfriend when he and I barely spoke if we weren't around someone who didn't know the who 'relationship' was a fake. It didn't feel like it was worth it to me but Fiona was right. I had no choice but to go to the premiere with Liam. I'd already done my make-up so I went into my room to change into my dress. It was a purple, strapless, floor length, cotton dress. It was fitted around the bust and then just flowed down to the floor from my waist. It had some bead work under the bust but overall the dress was simple which was just what I wanted. I didn't want to draw any more attention to myself than I already would be by arriving with Liam. Luckily for me the other boys were going as well. Louis was bringing Danielle, Zayn was bringing Gigi, Niall was bringing his girlfriend Celine, and Harry was bringing a friend of his Adrienne. I was just glad it wouldn't be just Liam and I in the limo. I put the dress on and double checked my hair.

"Kristin, Liam is here," Lidia yelled up. I slipped on my silver heels and walked downstairs. Liam's jaw dropped when he saw me and I smirked to myself.

"Shut your mouth before you catch any flies Payne," I said. He shut his mouth and shot me a quick glare.

"Ready to go? Everyone is waiting in the limo," he said. I nodded.

"It's not like I exactly have the choice not to go now do I?" I asked.

"Be nice Kristin!" I heard Fiona yell as I opened the front door. I laughed and shook my head. We got into the limo and I sat between Liam and Gigi. From looking at the girls Gigi is the only one who didn't go with a simple dress. Then again she was the only one of us who was used to this kind of thing. It was the first time for Celine, Adrienne, and me. While I knew from talking with Danielle that she didn't like going to premiere and that sort of thing, so Louis rarely even asked her to go. He only asked her to go tonight because he thought I'd like having a friend there since neither Fiona nor Lidia could come. The ten of us made small talk as we rode to the venue. Most of it was Gigi, Danielle, and the boys, minus Liam of course, trying to calm the nerves of Celine, Adrienne, and I. Mostly me because I was the only one whose relationship was being revealed tonight. Celine and Niall had already been dating for a few months and people knew that Adrienne was only Harry's friend. We got to the theatre and Liam and I got out first. I was temporarily blinded by all the camera flashes. I could hear the paparazzi yelling questions as Liam and I started up the red carpet with the others. Liam wrapped an arm around my waist protectively and guided me over to an interviewer who I assumed was Sugarscape since we were told to only talk to them. After we answered a few questions about whom I was and our relationship we went inside. The movie was amazing. I loved Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Jared Leto made a great Joker. He made the joker creepy but it was still great. Overall I definitely loved the movie. After the premiere I was supposed to stay over Liam's house. Every fangirl's dream I suppose and a few months ago, it would have been mine too. Liam led me up to his flat and let me in. Erika had dropped off my things for me earlier today after she gave me my dress. He showed me to a guest room and I changed into my pajamas. I decided to check Twitter to see what people were saying about me. Most people were just in shock that Liam had a girlfriend again and wanted to know how we met. They also wanted to know where I came from because no one had seen me pictured with him. But one girl had noticed how Liam had been happier and how maybe it was because of me. She even thanked me for cheering him up. I followed her and retweeted the tweet. The next morning I woke up to my phone ringing.

"Hello?" I said groggily.

"OMG you and Liam are on TV! You look amazing!" Lidia squealed. I got out of bed and started to pace.

"Woah, woah. What channel Lid? What are they saying?" I asked.

"That Liam arrived at the premiere last night with you, you looked stunning. A rep for him said that you cheered him up and you've been together for almost a month," she said. "Also that fans don't know how to react to the news, like even more so than when Niall went public with Celine a few months ago. They don't like the fact that Liam has a girlfriend but they're happy you cheered him up."

"Alright, well thanks Lid. Hopefully I'll be home soon. I have no idea if Liam is even up yet and since I don't have a car here I need to wait for him," I said with a sigh.

"Alright see you later babe. Oh and Creigh is gonna be over tonight."

"Yay! I haven't seen him in forever!" I said as I heard a beeping. I looked at my phone. "Oh I got to go, James is calling."

"Kay, bye. Tell him I said hi!" she said and I ended the call with her and answered James'.

"Hey Broseph!"

"Since when are you dating this Liam guy?" he asked. Shit! I knew there was something I forgot to do before Liam and I went public.

"About a month, look I'm so sorry I didn't tell you. Things have just been crazy lately with work and seeing Liam."

"I want to meet him."

"Fine, come down and meet him James. Just let me know when so I can make sure he doesn't have an interview or have to be in the studio."

"Will next Monday work? I have to come down to London for work anyways then we could do dinner."

"Sure and bring your girlfriend so I can meet her too."

"Alright well I'll you go. Bye Sissy."

"Bye Broseph."

"Oh and you looked amazing last night. Amber made me watch some gossip show when she saw you were on it," he said. I assumed Amber was his girlfriend.

"Awe, thanks. See you later." I hung up and walked out to Liam's living room. Liam was shirtless, watching TV. Damn that boy was fit.

"There's coffee in the pot," he said.

"Morning to you too. Oh and my brother wants to meet you next Monday."

"You have a brother?"

"Yeah, he's 24 and all I have left so he's quite protective of me."

"Good to know," he said, still watching TV. I shook my head and poured myself some coffee. "I have to go to the studio soon so I'll just drop you off on my way."

"Fine with me," I told him sitting down next to him. "Thank you for taking me last night by the way. I know you didn't really have a choice but I had fun." He just nodded and I sighed. He is so irritating.
