Time Restricted Love (Doctor Who Fanfiction)

Chapter 1

The Tardis swiftly floats through space itself as i sit here, with the doctor, twiddling my thumbs. I guess you can say ive gotten used to it; something that millions of people would do anything to have. I don't know why he picked me; I'm just a normal woman.

The doctor, with eyes that look so old and weighed down, is running around the perimiter of the control center of the tardis, pushing buttons as if he knows what he's doing.

"Doctor, i swear. You treat this rusty old box like it's your own kid." I yell to him from afar.

The tardis suddenly jolts, making me fall out of me seat.

"Oi! Watch it space man!" I yell, picking myself up from the metal floor.

"Oi! Watch it, Earth girl!" He says with a serious face but a sparkle in his brown hazelnut eyes. "Maybe if you were a bit nicer to the Tardis, and showed her some respect, she wouldn't have done that."

"Oh yeah, sure. The Tardis did that. Haha very funny doctor."

The doctor then looked me straight in the eye and put his hands up in the air, and the tardis shook again; this time a bit softer.

"Ok, ok. I believe you. Sorry love." I say as i softly pat the wall of the tardis.

"Allrighty then, Donna! Where to?" The doctor asked me. "What about ancient Rome? Or the planet Azterget? Very nice people there. Oh Donna they have this candy there made out of crystals found on the planet Yofurgian and-"

"Doctor, wait." I said, interupting his pointless ramble. "I want you to tell me about your past. I would love to know more about the man that I'm trusting my life with."

The doctor suddenly stopped what he was doing. Almost as if what i said triggered something inside him. He looked up at me, his eyes heavy with deep sadness.

"Doctor, I'm sorry. You don't have to-"

"-No." Interupted the doctor. "You're right Donna. You deserve to know."

He looked me in the eyes and slowly started walking towards me. The emptiness in his eyes going deeper and deeper into madness, but still maintaining a sparkle of sanity. He sits down next to me and tells me about his past. Well- some of it.

"Donna, there is so much to say, and so much i can't say. I'm a timelord, from the planet Galifrey. I am the last one of my kind. They all were wiped out in the Time War,along with the planet itself. I don't die, i regenerate. I take a new form. Ive taken 10 forms so far. I am the 10th reincarnation of myself. I time travel. I save people. I help people. I try to find some fun in this long lifetime. And Donna, we are gunna have LOADS of fun!"

His heavy eyes now sparkled even brighter, and he smiled at me.

"Well, Doctor," I said with a smirk, "I'm going to go take a nap. Thank you very much for the autobiography."

"Don't sleep for too long, i still wanna show you those candy crystals on planet Azterget! Sweet dreams, Donna Noble."

I tread to my bed in the tardis. This damn tardis seems like it has no end. I've ventured around before, and even though i walked in a straight line, i ended back at the place i started! Must be some type of Timelord-y magic. I want to learn more about this strange man..or alien...or whatever. This spaceman must write down his life somewhere! I decide instead of going to sleep, I will look around the tardis to try and find something that would help me find out more about the doctor. The mysterious, secretive doctor.
