"Marky can we please go to the mall after school? There's a huge sale that I really can't miss." Sienna pleaded.

All she ever wanted to do lately was spend my money. I had way more important things on my mind than whatever she wanted to buy.

"Sienna, I have a lot on my mind. Can't you go with Faith or something?"

"Faith recently went broke. Looks like Daddy's big job wasn't so rewarding after all." She replied.

Faith. Poor Faith. Sienna's best and one of her only friends since pre-k. She treated her like dirt and it looks like her dad just went from CEO of Subway, to living in one.

"Oh.. Alright. Just let me get my keys." I said reluctantly.

I can't believe I was giving into her, as usual. You know, at first, things with Sienna were perfect, but ever since junior year started, she's been nothing but snobby.

As we walked towards my locker, she clung onto my arm like a sock does in the dryer to a sweater. Half way there, I passed her. My best friend.. Or at least I hope I could still call her that.

Jennifer, who I was surprised wasn't with her boyfriend was walking right towards us. Her long, strawberry blonde hair was pulled into a tight braid while her rich, navy eyes sparkled, just like they always have.

I missed her. I missed talking to her everyday, seeing her everyday. In that second we passed, I remembered how well she knew me. She probably knew something was up.

I felt my phone buzz. One new message from "Jen(:" Her contact name was just how she left it. I read the message, holding my phone away from Sienna.

They didn't like each other very much. I didn't reply to the message, but I kept the information in the back of my mind.

(Jennifer) Meet me at our spot right after school. Alone.

We hadn't met up there since 8th grade. I had to go. The real challenge at hand here is getting out of this mall trip, and getting to our sacred spot without Sienna knowing.
