Avery POV
I looked at Mrs.Averdeen. She looks older than the last time I saw her.
She hugged me,"how are you?".
"I'm great, thank you" I answered.
"I thought I will never see you again." She murmured.
"Me too Mrs. Everdeen."
"So, where have you been? How you can get to know her again?" She looked at me frowning.
I closed my eyes for a while. The thought of my nightmares back loomed in my mind. The memories are still fresh. I could never forget about it.
I heaved a sigh. "I've been moved to LA since that day. I felt really guilty for her. I couldn't accept the fact that she forget about me..us. But the more I tried to runaway from her, I knew that I couldn't. I just love her so much. I miss her so badly. So i decided to go back. I was planting to register again to Madison. But accidentally, she bumped me at the school. And finally we get to know each other. I wish I can fix everything"
I rubbed my face.
"I know you can Ave. I can see it in your eyes. There is love in it. And there is nothing you couldn't do if you have love." She smiled.
"Mrs. Everdeen, please forgive me. I promise I will never leave her again. Give me another chance." I pleaded.
"I believe you Ave. Just take it slow okay? Perhaps she needs time to think about it"
"Thank you!thank you so much Mrs. Everdeen. I will do my best"
Suddenly I heard a footsteps coming towards us.
"Hi! Become friends already?" She came out from the bathroom with a blue shirt and white jeans. She smells really fresh.
I wonder, is she heard all of that?
"Hi sweetheart" Mrs. Everdeen kissed her cheek. She looks like a little girl. Who really needs her mom. She's so adorable. I wanted to pinched her fluffy cheeks.
She leads us to the kitchen. It looks like it's been renovated. The last time I came here, the walls are still maroon. And there is no oven on the corner before.
"Who wants meatloaf?"Mrs. Everdeen asked us. Cassy turned around and ran happily to her mom.
"MEATLOAF!!!" She shouted cheerfully.
Gosh, She was really a little girl.***

"Who doesn't?"
"I mean, you're a girl. You know, girls don't give a damn about it."
"Well, I guess I'm not a girl then."
"Yes, you're right." He laughed.
After about 2 hours eating, watching, screaming, laughing, and comments about the football match, Ave finally left my house.
"Hey waitt!" I shouted.

I ran to my room and took my polaroid camera. It is worth to be remember.
I ran to the front door and mouthing 'yeaay' to him. But he still looks confused. Then I lifted my polaroid to him, then he nodded.
