With the pounding of hooves in his ears the man rode through the small village on the end of the great City. What he didn't know was what was following behind. It was a stormy night the sea was nearby 'I can hear it crashing against the city walls. I have to hurry!' The man rode at a furious Pace. As Lightning cracked across the sky overhead the man heard a sharp shrill screech pierce the night. As the man looked back he saw the spectral forms of three figures who were almost keeping pace with his horse. 'Damn them! I don't have time for this!' The man leaned close to his horses head and whispered something in it's ear that caused it to surge forward. After sitting up and clutching 3 small bundles close to him the man let go of the reins of his horse unfastened his legs and proceeded to stand up in the stirrups and bracing himself against the wind. At that moment the man cried out.
"My friend ride true and ride straight! Deliver my message as I have instructed, protection be upon you!" At that the man his foot from his Stirrup pushed himself off of his horse and flipped back onto the ground watching his horse ride off. In the blink of an eye he spun around and had a blade that was glowing with a faint light out in front of him watching the three specters that had to come to stand before him. The man shook his cloak from his head. Showing a man of what appeared to be early thirties silver white hair, his eyes you couldn't quite put your finger on the name for the color and a smile like he knew everything anyone would ever do. "I command you show me your true forms!" His voice was like hearing a moment of song from a perfectly tuned tenor. The man's smile slipped from his face and showed that he was very, very serious. The specters hesitated for a moment and then complied with this. The silver-haired man watched the spectators slowly slipped into Focus as their physical forms appear. The three figures were hooded in dark heavy cloaks that hid thier bodys and faces. The man's smile reappeared on his face as he said "well it seems I have earned the respect of being sent after by three generals."
The figure in the middle spoke in responce, "you do not have our respect human rather this task was too important to trust to anyone else." His voice came out cool crisp and low. As the silver-haired man smiled and observe the three figures in front of him. He watched as the figure in the middle of them surveyed his weapon at his side as its faint glow illuminated into their surrounding. The pursurer in the middle straightened up to his full height standing taller than the figures to his left and right. The silver-haired man's face did not lose his smile as he spoke this time,
"So you don't think I deserve your respect then what a pity you had mine for the briefest moment there." The man held the three  bundles still closer to himself but not to squeeze too hard but still taking very good care of them to protect them from any potential threat. He then drew his sword back in a side long stance wielding his blade in his right hand point of the not moving an inch. All that was visible of him was just a glowing blade and his shadowed face until he finally breathed out one word, "iceltri." And suddenly he disappeared from sight of the three figures. As their heads looked to and frow they didn't see a single sign of the man. Until both figures beside the tallest, crumpled to the ground dead before even knowing what happened. The now lone figure moved quickly to the side and by doing so his dark cloak came off from around him. The figured showed to what looked to be a man with long shining black hair, pale skin that looked unnaturally perfect, eyes the color of snake venom, his clothes looked like the deepest pools of black you could look into and then there were his wings. He had four great feathered black wings coming from his back that matched his hair. As the winged man spun around to face the man whose blade had started to glow again.
"At least one general lives up to their reputation." He laughed and suddenly he was in front of the winged man and had the tip of his blade pressed under the chin of the man. Surprised the man didn't move because he had made a misjudgment.
"You are not just a mere human are you?" As he looked at him he felt a power in this man that he wasn't even using that was almost as strong as his master's own power. He growled low at the man, "who are you?! Why don't you kill me?!" The silver haired man made a swift movement and the winged man felt a sharp pain across his chest and wing. Suddenly the the silver haired man was against a tree his blade floating in front of him and a shining piece of paper was in his hand and what appeared to be one of the winged mans feathers and it was drinking ink. The winged man was not in a hurry to attack an enemy he had not prepared for that may be a third player in this war. The silver haired man spoke low and carefully. "I'm not going to kill you because that is not for me to do. Your time will come and this contract will ensure that you go the direction I need you to." The winged man looked from the siver haired man's face to the paper he had and saw that his feather was writing in not what was ink but his own metallic coal colored blood.
"NO! I WILL NOT BE CONTROLLED!" The winged man roared as he charged at towards the man going for the paper or his life for his own mission had to be completed. He moved fast as lightning but the glowing sword blocked him and repelled him back.
The feather stopped moving and the piece of paper floated in front of the silver haired man and hr began to speak again.
"I bind this contract to the Derilos general before me. That his mission will never be completed and that he shall never be able to break this contract of his own accord. Bind contract of the Mistroc Martrix... BIND TO AORTHRIN!" Aorthrin looked shocked and his body went ridged from the vast amount of power in the words being spoken. He just looked at the silver haired man and he forced his mouth to move and the words to form.
"Who are you and how do you have this kind of power?!" Aorthrin tried to struggle against the power and the man bit the end of his thumb and pressed it to the paper.
"I am the one who binds and watches over the choosen... I am..." Suddenly there was a flash of light and Aorthrin dropped to the ground able to move again. The man, his bundles, sword, and paper were all gone. Aorthrin walked over and picked up the feather from the ground with his blood on it and as he reached it he heard a whisper in his ear.
"I am Xin."
