Chapter 20: Anna and the Elite 4

The next few rounds went by fast. Lynn and everyone won their battles, and Kurt even found an old friend he fought in Kanto named C.C, soon after Kurt met up with her the last few elimination rounds started. “The final elimination rounds have just started!! Already the newbie Trainer Avrial and his friends have blown away most the competition! But so has the mysterious trainer Anna! It seems you guys have some competition!” The announcer said in the middle of the arena “And here’s Anna is now!” A black haired girl walked onto the arena. “So Anna got anything to say about the league so far?” The announcer said as he handed her the mike. “I want to fight Kurt…and Avrial….Now.” Anna announced coldly. The crowd all gasped and whispered amongst each other. “Well it’s sort of sudden and we can’t just” The announcer started to say before Anna shot him an icy glair, “Well when you put like that, would Avrial and Kurt please come to the arena for an expedition match?” “Gladly.” Avrial said as him and Kurt step through the door to the arena. The crowd went wild as they saw them. Lynn and the gang along with Tia, Matt and Archie and a few more member of Team Aqua were in the front row stands. Even Miki, C.C and a few trainers the Avrial and his friends beat were their too. “Kurt you ever get the feeling something bad gonna happen?” Avrial said looking at Anna. “Just smile and wave to the crowd man.” Kurt whispered to Avrial.

“You two both have a bounty on your head’s, Team Rocket was right about finding you guys here.” Anna said as she smiled at them. “Team rocket…Kurt isn’t that the name of an group that steals Pokémon? ” Avrial asked. “Yeah but I only though they were in Kanto.” Kurt said as he though back. “Well I already said too much so I guess we should get this started.” Anna said as she threw her pokeball. In a flash of light a giant half robot pokémon was in front of Avrial and Kurt. “OH MAN! That’s a Salamence but Its huge!” The announcer said look up at it struck with fear. “Let’s go Sylvia!” “We got this Glacia!” Avrial and Kurt said as they threw their Pokeballs. In a flash both of their shiny pokémon were out. “Hmm touching…Both of you are using your special pokémon…Salamence take out the beanie ones first. Use Earthquake” Anna ordered. The Salamence started glowing and charging up energy. “Avrial is this what you meant by something bad happening?” Kurt asked quickly. The Salamence shot a burst of energy into the ground, causing Sylvia and Avrial to get send flying into the stands. “AVRIAL!!!” Kurt yelled. Tia and Flannery managed to catch Sylvia but Avrial went through an empty part of the stands. “That thing aint no pokémon!” One trainer said. “Let’s get out here!” Another yelled as a crowd of people started running to the exit along with the announcer.

The Salamance then turned to Kurt. “You were aiming at him weren’t you!?” Kurt said as he felt his anger rising. “I just wanted to see if his bounty matched his strength, which it didn’t. You on the other hand….Salamance, Giga Inpact. Anna ordered. Salamance way about to attack Glacia but a Combusken grabbed her and Kurt and the last second. “Huh? What jus-Lynn, Shane Mar No!” Kurt yelled as he realized what was going on, Lynn’s Combusken had saved them and she along with Shane’s Umbreon and Mar’s Espeon took his place. “Kurt come on! Flannery and Tia found Avrial. Let’s get Him and Sylvia out of here and come back!” Matt said. “But….girls be careful!” Kurt yelled as he followed Matt and Archie to Avrial. “You’re gonna burn for what you did to Avrial!” Lynn yelled. “Aww that’s cute the bounty’s Women have come to protect them. Anna said as she laughed. “Espeon use Psybeam!” Mar ordered. Espeon shot a beam from her jewel at Salamance. It didn’t do much to him but it knocked a small gantlet off of it. “Umbreon use shadow ball!” “Combusken use Flamethrower!” Shane and Lynn commanded. The attacks missed but it knocked a portion off of his tail off.  Anna jumped onto Salamance and stared at everyone. “Well it’s been fun but I’m out of time. I’ll come back for you guys later. See ya’s!” Anna laughed as Salamance made a hole on the arena and flew off toward Kanto. “Well…we beat her” Lynn said as she picked up the gantlet. “Lynn darling are you ok? Mar asked.  “If you’re worried about Avrial he’s a tough guy, he’ll be fine.” Shane assured her.
