Layla is a divorced real estate agent who finds herself stuck completely alone late at night for a last minute home inspection on an old Victorian mansion. Rumor has it the old place is haunted...but is it really?
It's late and here I am alone, stuck doing a last minute home inspection before the final showing of this vacant, sprawling Victorian mansion tomorrow morning.

By day I'm sure this house is absolutely breathtaking, but at night it's a whole different story. I've only just made it onto the front porch, and this place is already giving me the creeps.
Of course, the rumors surrounding it aren't exactly helping matters either. Now I'm not a superstitious person by nature, but if there's even a grain of truth in the rumors about this place then I'm in trouble.
You see rumor has it...this place is haunted. But I'm not normally one to shy from a challenge, and this time is no different.
My life has been a real shambles since the divorce, my ex leaving me with little outside of a bruised ego and a depleted bank account. Therefore I'm determined to get my hands on the enormous commission that comes with this sale, and the ego boost that'll come from being the only person in town able to sell this place isn't exactly anything to sneeze at either.
So here I am under cover of night nervously fumbling with the keys, eager to get inside so I can get this inspection over with and go home to my warm comfy bed.
Eventually I manage to get the key into the lock and slowly turn the knob granting me entry into a darkened foyer. Let's hurry get this over with...
I hurry inside and make my way to the light switch illuminating the hall and giving me my first close look at this place.

Other than a few misplaced cobwebs which I manage to quickly clear away, there seems to be nothing of concern though the whole vibe of this place is still giving me the creeps.
Off the entry way, there is a semi-circular staircase heading upstairs into a black void. Think I'll save that for last...
The other options presenting themselves are a door into what looks like a large walk in closet to my right, or an entrance into a pitch black room directly ahead.
