Chapter 34: If I Never Knew You

The next day, Raph saw Sunset at the Camelot garden with her eyes close and smiling and he blush on how beautiful she is. Then he look down at the object he is holding and sight very sadly. Then Leo saw his brother a little sad and walk to him to see how is he.

"Hey Raph." Said Leo and that got Raph to jump a little and turn to see Leo.

"Leo, geez don't sneak up on me like that." Said Raph." What are you doing here?"

"Well I could ask you the same thing." Said Leo as he crossed his arms at his chest." Why are looking at Sunset the whole time?"

Raph was about respond till Leo notice that he is holding something in his hand and got curious.

"What's that in your hand Raph?" Asked Leo.

'Oh man Leo can't see this it was supposed to be a gift for Sunset, but I can't hide it.' Thought Raph and sigh." It's a gift that I was going to give to Sunset. But I'm also worried that she may not like it."

Raph show Leo the object and Leo was impressed by it then he saw how upset Raph is and put his hand on his shoulder.

"Raph are you upset because you want to ask Sunset to be your girlfriend but you thought she might refuse?" Asked Leo and Raph nodded his head yes." I know how you feel. I feel the same way with Twilight, but you remember what Slash says you need to be yourself."

Then Raph knew what he meant and he thanked his brother and went to Sunset. As he goes to Sunset, he took a deep breath and tap on her shoulder to get her attention and then Sunset turn around and saw Raph.

"Oh hi Raph what are you doing?" Asked Sunset.

"Hey Sunset, I was looking for you and asking you if you could meet me at the meadow tonight?" Said Raph. Sunset blush and agreed. Then it was night time, and Sunset met Raph at the meadow.

"So Raph, is there something you want to talk about?" Asked Sunset.

"Yes there is, do you remember when we meet at the gala?" Said Raph.

"Yeah I remember." Said Sunset as she remembers when she and Raph were dancing the night away.

"Yeah you see Sunset when I first meet you, you're the only one that I never knew I meet before." Said Raph." I mean, if I never knew you I would still be heartbroken and had no one to love with."

"Wow, I never thought you feel that way Raph." Said Sunset as she was surprised of what Raph said.

"Yeah, and I got a song to prove it Sunset." Said Raph. Then music began to play and Raph began to sing.

After they both have finished their song Raph realize that he still has his present that he want to give to Sunset.

"Sunset, I have something I want to give to you but you need to close your eyes." Said Raph and Sunset blush a little.

"Okay." Said Sunset as she close her eyes. As she still has her eyes close she feels something that Raph is putting on her neck with his dog hand.

"Okay Sunset, you can open your eyes now." Said Raph.

As Sunset open her eyes, she gasp on what's on her neck. On it was a necklace that is the shape of a sun and has a beautiful orange jewel on the middle.

"Oh Raph, it's a necklace shape like the sun. I love it." Said Sunset as she smile.

"Great, I'm glad you like it because I got something to ask you." Said Raph and Sunset looks at Raph in surprise." Sunset, I fell in love with you ever since we met at the gala and the time we first did it at the cave when that storm happen. I was wondering. . . Would you be my girlfriend?"

Then Sunset gasp and then smile and hug Raph.

"Yes Raph I would love to your girlfriend. I love you." Said Sunset.

"I love you too Sunset." Said Raph as he and Sunset kissed. But what they didn't know is that Leo was looking at them and was happy for them. But he realized that it's his turn to tell Twilight how he feels about her and how much he loves her.
