Produce 24: The first Wave

[Sejeong on the multimedia]

All of them have already picked a number and their speculations were that those numbers they have picked will be the sequence in the showcasing of talents.

"Those who picked number one, please go to the backstage area and be ready!" The staff announced. There was a noise from the crowd as they knew that those numbers are their sequence in the showcase.

Sejeong looked around and was hesitating to go to the backstage area.

"Nayoung-eonni! Accompany me please!" She pleaded out to Nayoung which earned a no from her.

Doha, on the other hand, was as nervous as Sejeong. Last time, he really didn't get the chance to be the first presentor so he was asking advice from Youngdoo.

"Hyung, you'll be fine. Don't worry, I believe you'll hold a place on the rank," Youngdoo reassured the man.

Doha nodded and took a deep breath before going to the backstage. As like destiny, Sejeong also went the same time as him, which earned wolf whistles from the boys.

"I believe in fate!" Jihyeong shouted before the two disappeared.

[Backstage]

"Annyeonghasaeyo, Sejeong-ssi." Doha greeted the lady, along with his never-ending smile. Sejeong flashed her signature eyesmile as she bows her head to the man, greeting him as well.

"I'm nervous, Doha-ssi." Sejeong muttered which made the man glanced to her side and gently patted her head.

"I'm sure you'll be fine, you're a great artist." He said to cheer her up which he thought worked because he saw a smile forming on her lips.

"Let's call the first presentor." Taeyeon's voice from the stage can be heard as a sign that the two must go to the stage.

"Ladies' first." Doha said and flashed a smile at her which made her chuckle and nod her head before going up to the stage. He quickly followed her and when the two were at the center stage, the judges were smiling and whispering to each other.

"Okay, please introduce yourselves," Leeteuk said.

"Attention! Hello, I am Park Doha." Doha introduced himself.

"and I am Kim Sejeong." Sejeong also introduced herself and as if practiced, the two bowed politely together.

"So, let's first see Sejeong's individual performance."

[Waiting Room]

The room was surprisingly big, enough to have an aisle between the girls and boys.

"Is it me or Sejeong-eonni and Doha-ssi really look good together?" Somi said which the boys heard and looked at each other with big smiles.

"I admit, they do look cute together. Aigoo~ my Joonyoung x Sejeong ship has already sunk~" Nayoung commented as she watched.

The crowd watched as Sejeong sang a song which perfectly suited her voice. They were even shocked on how Sejeong pulled off the high note on her song. After Sejeong sang, there was a great applause from the room.

"Whoa, I think I already know why Doha-hyung likes her. She's so cool~" Jihyeong whispered to Hocheol who is sitting beside him.

Hocheol nodded and said, "On top of that, she's really pretty."

[Stage Area]

"Kim Sejeong, I see you've really grown. I know you have a great singing skills but you surpassed it. Did someone inspired you to do that?" Bae Yeunjung said as she  commented on her vocal performance.

"Thank you so much. As always, my family inspires me to sing," she finished off her statement with an eyesmile.

"Thank you for your performance, Sejeong. Let's see Doha's," Leeteuk said and she moved to the side of the stage as Doha goes to the center. She mouthed 'fighting' to him when she passed near him which made the man flashed a shy smile.

When it was his turn for his vocal performance, Doha sneaked a look at Sejeong who was looking at him. Doha smiled at her and started singing, stealing glances at her as he does.

Little did the two know, someone is at the verge of fainting at the waiting room due to his feels about the couple,and it is the boy named Lee Haejun.
