School Is Still School During The Apocalypse

Even though shoo was the last thing on my mind at this time, it was the only thing on my mind, because mom had already left for work, work in our of town in Lexington. So I couldn't turn to her and Ashley's family was on vacation, because they were a old couple that need alone time together before they didnt have time at all. So I was just me, Ashley, and the kids to word about, but for some reason the safest place that I could think of was the highschool, because I had three stories and only two sets of staircases, which allows easy blockading for the two top floors. Ashley interrupted my thought process and said "Mia where are we going to go"

I quickly thought of my two options whether to stay her or move to the highschool and I spastically said "To the high, lets hurry" all the highschooler, including u and four others, grabbed the closest weapon to us. Most of the were blunt weapons such as, chuck of wood. Metal scraps, an broken glass. Everything seemed normal, except there was no noise jus bare silence, nothing. It was odd like it was to quite; I whispered to everyone "Don't make any noise or something will happen I don't know what, but something will." Then, I knew I was going t come, I through myself under, because a elementary kid about six or seven starts scawling out for his parents, and I knew the were coming. Ashley shouted like she was an amzonian worrior " We have a fight on our hands w fight or b killed your choice and we need to save these little kids." We charges a them and slaughtered them it like their skin and bone soften to the point where blunt objects were supior to them. After the fight I relized, we still have six blocks to school. As I started to calm down from all that adrenaline rush in through me, I relized that my jeans had been aoake in something and i went to touch my jeans and i saw I was blood, it quickly got blurr and hazy and after that I dont remeber anything.

I woke up after who know ho long and something long unfamiliar I wasn't were I used to be it was dark but like I was inside somewhere. I raised up our o suspicion to see what had happened an i sa that my leg had bee bandaged up an the bleeding had stopped. Ashley had walked in and said " Yay, your up you had me worried"

I replied " Yeah, I'm just thankful I'm not dead. " I paused a minute then resumed " What happen to me out there and where am I? "

Ashley replied with a smile " Your in school, hi welcome, and me and some older boy carried you six blocks here, good thing I Know my way around here"

" Uuuugggghhhh" I thought, " why does school still feel like school even in the apocalypse." School sucks for me in my case I really didn't enjoy it even though i got straight A's and stuff, but to me a letter isn't what really matters. It how you view things and listen to them is what matters.
"Hey do you by any chance brought anything to eat with you?" Ashley ask as if I didn't just almost die but that's okay IG sinces she is my best friend and her life did just change drastically.
