The Songwriter (iKON)

The Begining

Its already morning and the girl was still there with Jiyong in the practice room. She helped him for the choreography and the tune for a few of his songs. She also helped him a bit for the lyrics when Jiyong said he had a problems with it.

Yes. Jiyong and the girl was that close. The two of them had known each other since the girl's birth. Their parents was really close to each other. Dami, Jiyong's sister, treated her like a younger siblings. They often played together when they were kids, as Jiyong was busy with his study or training. They had been inseparable since then even thought she was so much older than the girl. When Jiyong debuted. She was there in the crowd cheering for him along with his family. So yeah, those two were practically a brother and a sister to each other.

Around noon, they finally get out from his cave. YG called Jiyong before to come to his office. They need to discuss something about his album. So they separate. The girl go to the cafeteria and ordered herself a sandwich. She saw Akmu and Lee Hi eating together at one table. She waved at them and made her way back to the practice room.

When she arrived there, Jiyong was already finish with his meeting with YG so they continued their activities before.

"Hyung have to delayed my album." Jiyong say to her when she asked him about his meeting before.

She looked at him frowning.

"What? Why?" She asked him while eating.

Jiyong took her hand in his and bite her sandwich.

"He say they want to make a variety for the trainee." He answered her while chewing. He took her juice bottle and drink half of it.

She glared at him.

"Stop eating my food would you?" She hissed at him.

"Nah..." Jiyong trailed before taking a gulp from her juice again.

"You know, we had the songs finished just a while ago but...I don't know I still couldn't be pleased by them. I want- no, I need something more. I need something that could express my feelings to my fans more, something that had happen to me before. Something different. Something special compare to my other album." he look very serious when he say that to her.

"Special?" She look at him confused.

"Yeah...I mean, my other songs was always about a heartbreak or a love story. If it wasn't about that, it probably about some people experience. I want a something different for this album. Something that scream me. The real me." He say that in one breath.

She look at him suprised.

"Do it then. Write all of it. Your struggle and pain. All the insecurities and frustration that you felt. Your depression. Your biggest fear. All of your nightmare. Write it down" She told him seriously, because honestly if he want something different for the song, something different about him then in her opinion the only thing that will suit this song would be something negative. Jiyong had never write something like that before.

"What??..." He look at her confused.

She rolled her eyes.
