Love and Happiness

It was so late the sun had started to set. Barney had not see hide nor tear of BlueVacktor. They were supposed to have played Sky Wars today, too. But he was a no show. Barney had no other choice but to go to Blue's house and try- emphasis on try- to make Blue cheer up.

Nobody noticed Blue's sadness as much as Barney. The truth was that Barney was incredibly and hopelessly in love with Blue. He wanted nothing more than to see him smile. However, he just couldn't tell Blue his feelings. about his overwhelming want to hold Blue and kiss him until a smile emerged. Barney was usually extremely confident, but thought of scaring Blue away terrified him. He HAD to hide his secret.

Barney had made it to Blue's house and knocked on the door. Strangely, the door was actually open. Inside it was pitch black.

"Blues?" Barney called into the darkness and was greeted by a sniffle. He flipped on the light switch to see Blue huddling alone in the back corner of the room.

"Uh, what are you doing? Why didn't you show up to Sky Wars today?" Barney asked.

Blue didn't respond

"Hello? Blue? It's Barney. I's asked-" Barney was cut off.

"Why does no one love me?" Blue wimpered.

"Hah? What do you means?" Barney asked, taking a seat by his distraught friend on the floor.

"I asked a girl out... But she said no" Blue cried.

"Justs because girl say no doesn't mean no one loves you" Barney explained

"She wasn't the first one. She was the 20th" Blue admitted through tears.

"20? Seriously?!" Barney asked, astonished.

"They said I'm too weak. And it's true" Blue cried harder and covered his sore eyes.

That statement made Barney's blood boil. NO ONE CALLED HIS BLUE WEAK! He stood up and proceeded to walk out.

"Don't leave me!" Blue begged.

Barney turned back and asked, "Who were they?"

Blue whipped a tear away and cocked his head in confusion.

"WHO WERES THOSE BITCHES?!?! I'M GONNA MAKETH THEM PAYS!!!" Barney shouted. Blue flinched at the sheer volume.

Now, Barney was crying.

"Barney? Why are you crying? They didn't hurt you..." Blue said meekly.

Barney turned to Blue. His expression was that of pure frustration. Suddenly, Barney charged at the paralyzed Blue. He took his face and kissed him hard.

Blue almost felt his heart leap out of his chest as Barney's lips crashed against his. He had never been kissed before. So many emotions filled his mind it made him feel a little light headed.

When the kiss broke, Barney pulled Blue's head to his shoulder.

"You don't need them Blue" Barney said though sobs. "Because I love you."

Blue blushed at Barney's sweet words. After a bit of hesitation, he hugged him back. Tears started to stream again. But, for the first time, they were tears of happiness.
