"Awe fuck," I thought to myself as I rolled out of bed. My last first day of high school. I looked for my black skinny jeans, red socks, and black vans. Rubbing my eyes as I walked into the bathroom I noticed the dark looming bags under my eyes. After brushing my teeth I tried to tame my tangled and messy hair.
"Ow!" I called out as I stubbed my toe walking up the stairs to the kitchen. After I had grabbed an apple from the fridge, I headed to the bus.
The bus was crowded, so many people in such a little space, yelling, screaming and throwing things. I preferred to be alone. School was crowded too. Everyone rushing to see their friends, talking and hugging. I just rolled my eyes and walked to the gym.
Trying to find a place to sit was torture. Finally, I decided to sit next to a guy tall skinny blonde guy wearing destroyed blue jeans, a bomber jacket and a pair of combat boots. "I'm Evan what's your name?" He asked, "It's um, it's Tyler," I answered, though my mind was on other things. "Who's class are you in?" Evan asked, but I just ignored him. I was more focused on the boy sitting in front of me. His bright pink hair almost blinded me, he was wearing black skinny jeans and a t-shirt with some I believe in aliens shit on it.
The bell rang and the rest of the students filled up the gym with talking and loud laughter. The pink haired boy turned and smiled past me, I looked behind me to see who he was looking at, "Are you fucking kidding me," I thought to myself, "He's straight." I turned back around and waited for the assembly to be over.
After we all went to our classes, Math, then English, then P.E. , then Science. The only class I had with the pink haired boy was science. They were long rows of tables filling up the room I sat down and the pink haired boy sat across from me. The teacher started talking about classroom guidelines for this year, but honestly, I just started at him the whole time.
"Today we are starting a new project," Mr. Henley announced, "The person sitting across from you will be your partner for the rest of the year." I glanced over to the other side of the table. "Are you fucking kidding me," I thought to myself, "The one person I like, are you fucking serious."
"Hey," the pink haired boy said, "I'm Josh."
"Hhi, Josh," I stuttered, as my face turned bright red.
"You wanna get started on the project," Josh asked.
"Yeah, sure what are we supposed to do again, I wasn't listening," I asked. Josh laughed, "His laugh, oh his laugh it was so perfect," I thought to mself.
"We are supposed to do read this chapter in the textbook, and then next week we dissecting something, and we have to do an essay or dissection report on what we found" Josh explained.
"Oh okay, that seems easy enough," I said. Josh glanced at his phone.
"Almost time to go," he said.
"I'll see you tomorrow," I muttered as he wandered out of class.
I sat at my desk reading my textbook, I looked over to the piano in the corner of my room, all of a sudden I became inspired to write.
I played a chord, "sometimes you gotta bleed to know, that your alive and have soul" I grabbed my notebook from my desk and quickly scribbled it down "but it takes a song to come around, to show you how, He's the tear in my heart" The few chords and lyrics quickly became a melody and after some time a song began to form.
A.N. - this is my first fan fiction ever, I understand it's probably not very good, but no need for any hate. Have a good day, beautiful frens 💕✨
