The Love Game

Chapter 7

After lunch I walked to my locker and when I opened it and I felt someone standing there.

"What?" I looked up and saw Jake

"What the hell was that?!" I shut my locker and walked away he followed me

"That was me ending the conversation."

"This is me starting the conversation."

"Leave me alone Jake." I saw them down the hall leaning against the lockers looking bored.

"Why?" I stopped and looked at him

"Just leave me alone." He turned around and walked off I saw cheerleader walking towards me. I sighed and ran my hand through my hair. She had a black eye and a bruise on her chin.

"Nice eye you got there." I pointed to her eye and she slapped my hand away and I smiled. Out the corner of my eye I saw Tom and Alex straighten up and look interested. I looked back at blondie

"You did this to me!" I smiled wider

"And I'll do it again if you don't go away."

"And if I don't?"

"I do remember just telling you. I swear you are the most dumbest person I have ever met." Tom and Alex came down the hall. I was distracted by them that I didn't see blondie come to shove me into the locker. She grabbed my hair and I flung her around so she was on the locker.

"You really have to stop doing that." She rolled me around on the locker and slammed my head into the locker. I had her on the floor I hit her other eye and went to punch her again and I was pulled off. I was pushed down the hall and I stormed away and put a hand on the back of my head. Damn it hurt

"How am I supposed to sleep with someone if I have no attraction to her at all." I laughed and kept walking I felt an arm around my shoulder and I was stopped.

"We have football practice it should be really fun don't you think."

"I told you Tom, I'm Red this week I honestly don't care. I don't think I ever did, and I have a question."

"And what is that."

"Why is it so easy for me to talk to you and why do I care so much about you and why do you care about me?" His arm dropped and he ran his hand through his hair.

"That's three questions and I don't know Red I just don't know." I walked outside and sat at the top of the bleachers I always sit here for free period. The football team came out and they were in different colors some in blue some in green. I watched them walk out and I could tell that Jake was on green and Liam, Jonathan, Alex, and Tom were all on blue. This was not going to go well. Blue had ball first and once Tom caught it he was tackled. I couldn't watch so I got up and walked down the bleachers I was stopped by the cheerleaders all of them. One stepped forward

"Where tired of you harassing Brittney."

"Who's Brittney?"

"The girl you keep fighting."

"Oh blondie, she harrases me I don't know what your talking about."

"Stay away from the new boys and the twins she wants them." I laughed and walked past them

"You don't tell me what to do." They all crossed there arms at the same time. That was wierd, free period was almost over so I walked towards my locker. When the bell rang the halls were filled with people. I got my books and started walking to class, it was all the way on the other side of school. I saw Tom and Alex I walked over to them, Alex gave me a small smile and I smiled back. Tom was going through his locker and he was pissed. He slammed his locker shut and turned towards me. His lip was busted but his black eye was already going down. I grabbed a tissue from my bag and handed it to him he held it on his lip. I snatched it away and leaned closer to him and started dabbing at his lip
