Now that a new scholastic year has begun, it's time for us to face back the reality. It's time for us to make new year goals (sort of). How are we going to accomplish all the goals that we set for ourselves with only 24 hours a day?"I'm going to get into Top 10."
"I'm going to get organized."
"I'm going to take more time for me!"
How many of you pushed these goals aside because it feels like there isn't enough time?
According to research, 48% of Americans saying that they do not have enough time in the day to do what they want. And since none of us have the magic to add an extra couple of hours to our day, management is the key for making the most of the time that we have in our lives.
When it comes to studying, time management and productivity are interchangeable. The better you manage your time, the more productive you are; and the more productive you are, the more time you have.
Getting to that point, can be challenging. Many experts recommend carving out our free time to handle our work, for example, school projects. Others say to schedule your calendar and timetable to finish tasks like homework each day. We all know that these suggestions aren't necessarily realistic – especially when we have tests and homework being thrown at us on a daily basis. This is where technology can be our biggest ally.
For instance, with our handy smart phones, we can make reminders for ourselves to finish our work. This will makes us punctual and know what to do in a specific time. Also, for the students that can talk up to three times faster than they can type, they can use the speech recognition tool installed in the phones and laptops to dictate out essays and spreadsheets. By using this, they will not only increase the quality of the work and the quantity too. Most importantly, they save a significant amount of time.
In addition, the Internet make us convenient and easy to live our lives. Students can reach to their teacher easily online. That way, you can submit your homework by emails and e-submissions. Moreover, the Internet provides a sea of information and ideas. As a student, when we have projects that requires doing researches, where do we go to find the answers? The Internet of course. Nowadays, we can save up a lot of time finding information. Instead of digging for answers from the huge collections of books in the library, a simple click on the mouse can reveal all the data we need.
In conclusion, technology benefits us a lot. If we are provided by this amazing tool, we should use it to advantage ourselves and help ourselves to good organising and managing. Remember, the better you manage your time, the more productive you are.
