The Storm

I'm only half way closing in to Dallas.

But the storm is getting closer by the second.

So I planned on looking for shelter and wait out this storm.

So I went into the woods to look for a cave or something for me to wait, but it started to rain hard, and really hard. But at least my stuffs in my pack were dry because I was luck to get my hands on a water proof pack a while back on my journey.

Lightning was striking around the sky and loud, while I was running trying not to get myself to wet from this storm.

But then out of nowhere I tripped over a stump and the next thing I knew, I went down hill making me fall into a river which the water was running fast.

Just when I was about to pull my head out of the surface, my head hit a hard rock and everything went black for a second.

...

The next thing I knew was I couldn't move from where my body was and I had not enough energy to get wake myself up.

Soon, I heard sounds in the woods coming to my direction.

I thought I was hearing stuff since I hit my head bad but then I saw a group of people passing by.

I tried to call out for help but nothing came out of my mouth.

I thought I was done for... but then,  I remembered that I had flares in my pack.

So I had to get my pack which was next to me and open it up and start a flare.

But a the same time I was losing my vision and losing my strength to ignite it.  Also the group was almost about to turn back.

So I gave all I got to show a single to them.

(Flare Ignites)

Just as the spark started to brighten up around me, I waved it over my head and then yelled out as hard  as I can and said.

"Heeeeeey!"

Then my vision went black.
