Midnight Talks

They had all agreed to follow Celes's curfew rule but yet a certain someone roamed the hallways. She had no idea why she decided to do this. Two trials had past which meant that there were three floors that could be accessed. She sighed and silently climbed the stairs to the second floor and kept walking around. She had a lot of things on her mind so maybe that was keeping her up she didn't know. She had many questions like for instance why was she the only one who didn't remember her talent. Then she had others which were much more complicated like she never trusted anyone but why Naegi, why was it always him that popped to mind. She got a weird feeling in her stomach and she shook her head dismissing her thoughts and kept walking on. She stopped in front of the library and opened the door revealing someone she didn't want to see at this particular time and immediately the questions and feelings returned. "K-Kirigiri-San?" a certain brunette said and walked up to her. "Yes it's me Naegi-kun" she replied in her normal cool crisp voice. "What are you doing up at this hour?" he asked his voice filled with curiosity. "I couldn't sleep I have too much on my mind, I should ask the same to you." she answered. Another question she had was why she wanted to be so open to him. "Oh same thing as you I'm glad I'm not the only one." he smiled his hopeful smile making a smile tug her lips. "you know you should smile more often it suits you." He smiled more with a pink dusting on his cheeks. She felt the feeling grow stronger in her but she kept her stone cold features but her smile grew a little. "Thank you but I don't like sharing my emotions with others." she replied rather coldly. "Well why do you smile around me?" He asked pretty cluelessly. She sighed "because I trust you Naegi" which clicked in his mind and he smiled again. "Would you maybe like to talk again tomorrow?" He asked with a simple yawn. She contemplated for a while and made up her mind "I don't mind this time?" She asked to which he nodded and smiled. "Goodnight Kirigiri-San" he said and waved. "Goodnight Naegi-kun" she smiled slightly. As he left she felt the feelings grow stronger. "Naegi wait" she said without thinking. "Kirigiri-San?" He questioned and turned to face her. She thought about telling him the feelings she had that she couldn't understand. "I wanted to ask you something" she said. "Go ahead I'm listening" he smiled. "When ever I'm around you I get this feeling. I can't explain it it just makes my stomach flutter. When ever I think about it it gives me a headache and the feelings get stronger, I just can figure them out" she looked over to him to find his face completely red."d-do you think I-it may be l-lo-love" he stuttered but when he said that a coat of pink dusted her cheeks. It hit her that she was actually in love with this hopeful naive boy. "I think so, so maybe I like you but I don't know how this works really." She blushes more. The boy smiled and went over to hug her. This surprised the amnesiac girl and she clinched a little. "I think I have the same feelings as you and I myself am not that well educated on this as well but I think we can do this" his face was a crimson red but there was determination written in his eyes. She let out a small giggle "yes let's do this together" she smiled the biggest she had in years. "Midnight talks aren't that bad after all" she thought.
