I watched from a far, as he made his way up the stairs towards the school. His looks stood stood out from the rest. His brown hair waved against his face and he wore a long sleeve shirt, with dark jeans. "Who is he?" questioned my friend Skylar. I examined him further and replied, "He probably is the new kid, Drake." Skylar mused this and said, "Katy, don't you think he may be a little over dressed for LA?" I nodded, before I could talk further the bell chimes for the start of school.

I gripped my bag over my shoulder, and headed into the school. I kept my eyes kept on the target, Drake. He was not hard to keep track of, considering he was heading the same direction that I was. I was curious my first class of the day was English, did he have my same class? My question was soon answered as he went into Mrs. Turner's room and I followed him inside. I found a seat near the middle of the classroom, I watched as Drake took a seat in the back. I felt a slight pout form on my face and  turned to talk to some of my friends before class started.

Mrs. Turner came into the room, carrying a stack of books. "Okay class, today we will start reading the brilliant works of Shakespear. Starting off with his classic Romeo and Juliet." Arching an eyebrow, I smirked to myself, Romeo and Juliet can be quite a romantic story. Maybe even romantic enough to get me a chance with Drake? Maybe he will need help? During the duration of the hour, I kept playing out and playing out the many ways I could get closer to Drake. I haven't heard him speak one word, but I knew one thing my target was locked and I was on the prowl.

Lunch time came up in a fast blur of classes and teachers talking up nonsense. I had discovered that Drake was in two other of my classes and that made my day. I disliked the food they served here, so I tended to go off campus for lunch, and I was happy when I made the choice to go to subway. In the long line of students, Drake was evident. I held a secret smile to myself, the line would take long, and I slipped between the people to stand in line with Drake.

I was getting impatient and was tapping my hand on my leg as fast as possible. I started tapping my foot and before I knew it was flying through the air and dropped into his arms, ours eyes in lock together. I knew i would never stop liking him.

"Thanks for that," I said blushing.

"No problem. It looked like you needed some help," He said laughing a little. It kind of made me up set but I put on a strong face and smiled the best I could.

"Whats up?" I said kind of nervous.

"Oh nothing just saving your life on a daily basis," he said with a funny smile on his face.

     "Hahah i needed that didn't I?" I said.

"Yea you really did. How long have you lived in LA?" he said trying to make small talk.

"For forever. I know LA like the back of my hand. So have any Friends?" I say trying to hint for him to be Friends with me.

"No not yet, its only been four hours so not much time to connect to people and really get to know them, is it?" he asked.

"True, so why did you come on a Friday and not a Monday?" i said trying to continue the conversation while the line in subway moved forward and forward, Almost my turn to order.

"Well I did come here on Monday but I couldn't settle in that fast like you."

I walked up to the counter and ordered "Olives, pickles, no tomato, onions and white bread." A few seconds later I had sandwich in hand and sat down at the window table. There were two chairs and Drake took one and I took the other.

After an hour of talking we both went our separate ways and left satisfied with each others company.
