I dragged my feet as I followed my mom around Wal-Mart, her jabbering about stuff I honestly could care less about. "Katy, Katy! Are you listening to me?!" my mom's voice asked annoyance surrounding it. "Wha?" I asked, glancing up at at her. "Will you please get some milk and a box of mini- cereal boxes," she said. "Fine," I sighed and wondered off towards the food section.

I grabbed the carton of milk and towed it with me as I set off towards the cereal aisle. "Excuse me miss, do you need help with those?" An almost teasing voice asked. I flipped around ready to yell out, and then I saw it was Drake. I felt my face flush slightly. "Hey Drake," I managed to get through, without ruining myself. "What's up, chica?" He asked, his eyes taking me in. I gave a sly smile and said, "Looking for the little cereal boxes." He smirked and replied, "Is our little girl finally moving onto little cereal boxes, instead of the mini ones."

My face went red hot at the comment, "No! My mom is going on a trip." He continued his smirk, "I know Katy, just messing with you." I gave a innocent smile and asked, "Do you know where they are?" He arched an eyebrow, somethin I've always been envious of, and replied, "I dunno, somewhere in this aisle." I smirked and rolled my eyes, "Thank you so much captain obvious!" He gave me a closed mouth smile and I went on a trek down the aisle in search of little cereal boxes.

I finally spotted them near the bags of cereal and as I reached down to grab a pack I came face to face with Drake. He was so close to me, I could feel the warmth of his breath on my face. We held eachother's gaze for more than a moment, until he finally grabbed the pack of cereal. We stood up slowly, taking in each other's each movement. "Here you go," he said, slowly, holding the box out to me. "Thank you," I said, taking the package slowly from him.

"No problem," he replied and continued, "I got to go, catch you tomorrow?" I nodded and Drake walked down the aisle, leaving me helpless and confused. I felt in a trance as I walked back to where my mom was stationed in the body cleaning section. How I hate when that happens. Why did he have to walk away? I'll probably just text him after shopping. I kinda want to keep my space and play hard to get but he, he is different.

We left the store and went back to my very clean house (my mom is a neat person). I am so clueless with Drake. He is the one guy I can't figure out. He is the best but weirdest person I ever meet and very hard to read. Should I text him? Yea I will.

'Hey Drake! It was nice seeing you at the store today.' I sent it. In a few seconds I got a reply saying 'Yea it was pretty awesome to get a look at a pretty face' he replied. Butterflies went into my stomach and I texted back saying 'Well thanks. A guy has never said that to me. I'm not the prettiest girl in the school' I hesitated but pressed the sent button. 'You are in my eyes' he texts. OMG!Diid he really say that? Yes he did. I didn't have the guts to reply but he wanted the conversation to go on. So he said 'Can I call you?'. Before I answered my phone started to vibrate repeatedly.

After a long conversation I finally said I had to go and hung up the phone. I didn't want to but I was sooooo tired and I had to say bye to my mom because I wasn't going to see her leave in the morning. I walked out the door, said goodbye and went to sleep and dreamt about Drake and I.
