"Before we land, I need to go over some rules!" Amanda Waller said as she talked over the thundering sound of the helicopter.
"First of all, you're not going to catch Volt that easily, since he's known to a god in some belief. He can put the soul of his slaves in any body of the deceased." She said.
"Therefore you must defeat the "breathless", in order to catch Volt." Zoey added.
The squad's helicopter landed and they hopped out. Leaving Amanda Waller in there to fly back to base.
Zoey turned around after the helicopter flew away. She tossed two guns to Shriek.
"It feels so empty." Swilz said as he looked around.
"Okay, how about you guys try and find any signs of Volt, and I'm going to go look at the security cameras, stay right here ." Zoey said.
Zoey turned around and left them unattended. They had no clue what to do. They waited and waited. Ella was playing around with her key in her thigh, taking it out and putting it back in with her telekinesis.
"Ew, why are doing that?" Dylan asked in disgust.
"It amuses me." She said.
Dylan rolled his eyes.
"I'm seriously tired of waiting, there's obviously no one here." Hanüs said.
"Well why don't we do something fun." Ella said with a big smile on her face.
They all looked at each other and nodded in agreement.
---------•just a little break from being good•-----
"Hmmm, this seems like a good place."
Shriek said as she pointed to the store entitled "Macy's."The kids all grinned as they entered inside. The store was dim with a few lights flickering.
A glistening shine caught Dylan's eye. He jumped over the glass counter and filled his pockets with jewelry. He wasn't the only one Swilz and Hanüs went their way to the cash register.
Shriek and Ella went straight to the ladies section. Shriek however left her side to look at some clothes.
Ella glanced around, a perfume bottle with a ribbon tied onto it was sitting innocently. She picked it up and held it up to her opened mouth and sprayed it. It wasn't until it was on her tongue she flinched and realized that was a bad idea.
"Ella! Can I get your advice on a outfit." Shriek asked.
Shriek saw the perfume bottle and looked back at Ella.
"Did you spray that in your mouth?" Shriek asked.
"Oh yeah, it taste awful." Ella told her.
Shriek shook her head and grabbed Ella's hand to the dressing room. Five minutes later, Shriek came out wearing something completely different from her character.
"So what do you think ?" Shriek said.
"It's okay, but I think you looked more badass in your original outfit." Ella replied.
As Shriek got back into the dressing room. Her pager buzzed signifying Zoey getting in touch.
"Hello." Shriek responded.
"Volt is not here- repeat there is no sign of him in Washington D.C." Zoey paged back.
Shriek rushed back out and told Ella. They were both now running to tell the boys the situation.
"You guys, Volt isn't here neither is the breathless we need to meet Zoey back outside." Ella yelled out.
The boys stopped what they were doing and joined the girls outside. They couldn't see Zoey anywhere in sight. Until they heard the sound of her combat boots slamming the gravel.
"We have a new destination." Zoey said.
"Volt has vacuumed out the electricity out of every place except for one." She continued.
"Which is." Hanüs said.
"Area fifty one, I'm going to call in a chopper." Zoey responded.
" Attention, all those included of the program of Suicide Squad must send a helicopter to the area where the group has been dropped off previously." Zoey said into the pager.
The message didn't go through, it was useless.
"All the power must've been used when Volt was here." Swilz suggested.
"Well then you figure out how to get us a ride to Area 51." Zoey told him.
"Huddle around me." He said.
Everyone circled him waiting what he'll do next. Swilz took a deep breath and let out his deadly winds.
