Switching to Luke's POV

Rugger practice was just what I needed to get my mind off my stupid feelings.

Amaiyn coming with and kissing Lyon was exactly what I needed to think only about it for the rest of the day.

I jolted back to reality as someone tackled me to the ground.

"Luke! Time out!! "

Alec, the guy who had pounced me got up pulling me up with him.

"Winters! Get off the field till you clear your head " the coach ordered.

I pouted and stormed off up to my room.

I wonder where that idiot is...

Not that it matters.
It's hopeless me chasing after him. Why do I even like him?

Maybe I should just let him and Lyon be happy together... Although I always assumed Lyon was obsessed with Seth. oh well....

I sat down at my desk raising an eyebrow as I noticed an envelope sitting on it.

I opened it.

For a moment my mind went blank.

Suddenly I felt insecure glancing around my room.

Of course there was no one there.

Back to Amaiyn's POV

Man I miss hanging out with Luke. It's been about a week since um... That...

We couldn't really avoid each other completely (like me and Lyon.. Sigh) since we were roommates.

So creepy as it was, I took the time when he was busy simply to look at him.

The way he pouted at his homework when he didn't know an answer.

The way he would smile every time he got one right.

The way his dark blue hair fell over one of his eyes giving me the sudden urge to brush it aside. You know, in a friendly way.....

One time Luke had noticed and I responded by electrocuting a pillow. Smooth.

Yup... Friendly duh, Luke is my bro! Or... Was...

I still have no idea why he's mad.
Maybe he wanted me to ask for his advice first?

Absentmindedly climbing the stairs, as I turned the corner I bumped straight into Luke.

He looked like he got caught in a cyclone again....

I blinked in surprise as he gave me a grin.
" There you are! I was looking for you! " he said.

Whaaa?

"Y-You were...? " I asked.

He nodded and grabbed my hand pulling me up the stairs.

"Yeah! You're my friend after
all! "

He said.

"So... You're not mad anymore? "

Luke stopped and gave me a smile, but it wasn't real, his eyes looked sad.
