Edges

This poem is dedicated to my one dance instructor.

You remind me of something
I used to play with a lot.
It is used around the house a lot

With your giddy ways and shiny teeth.
Unlike me you are always sharp
Everything done around you is
perfected to the T
Your good side is a pretty sight but once
Sharp edges show people make a run for
it. Especially when pointed at someone

If there is one thing I love about you,
it would be you are sharp and to the point,

Stay as sharp as you are and never let anyone
or thing dull your edges. If life throws tough
situations at you just slice through them like
a knife through a cake.
