Winter Falls

Chapter 2

"Vanessa!" A voice called out. Vanessa turned around and saw that her friend Kamemiko was running over. She was always wearing rainbow and even dyed her hair rainbow. "Oh hey, Kamemiko. What's up?" Vanessa asked. "Come to my dorm! There's someone I want you to meet!" Kamemiko exclaimed. Vanessa nodded and followed Kamemiko to her dorm room. Kamemiko opened the door and there was a boy with black hair, black cat ears, and a black cat tail. He also had a black cat next to him. "Vanessa, meet Yukashi Monoto!" Kamemiko exclaimed.

Vanessa waved. "Hello, Yukashi." She said. "Hey." Yukashi answered. Vanessa looked to her right and saw that one of the doors had a purplish aura around it. "Hey, who's in there?" Vanessa asked. Yukashi stood up and walked over to the door. "Yo! Gazelle! We have company!" Yukashi exclaimed, kicking the door. He fell back after the door opened and hit the wall. "Oh hello!" Gazelle said. In the room, there was a big galaxy looking tree. And the whole room had purple, pink, and white vines and leaves falling from the tree. "Vanessa, this is Gazelle Galactic." Kamemiko said.

"Sorry if I startled you." Gazelle apologized. "You should be apologizing to Yukashi not me." Vanessa giggled. Yukashi was glaring at Gazelle like she just messed up big time. "Nah, he's okay!" Gazelle said, smiling. Kamemiko and Vanessa laughed. Yukashi's black cat rubbed up against Vanessa's leg and purred. "That's Yukashi's cat Yikio." Gazelle said. Yikio looked up and meowed. Vanessa kneeled down and started to pet him. "Did you figure out who you're going to prom with, Vanessa?" Kamemiko asked. "No, not really." Vanessa said, letting out a long sigh. "I'm planning on going with that Cupcake guy!" Gazelle said. "I was planning on going with him too. But just in case if I get rejected, I'm going with Yukashi." Kamemiko said. I wanted to go with Cupcake though... Vanessa thought. Yukashi was rolling around, playing with Yikio. "I'm gonna wear a sparkling black dress." Gazelle said. They obviously knew that Kamemiko was going to wear a rainbow dress. All three girls started talking about prom while Yukashi was taking a cat nap on the couch.
Meanwhile with Cupcake
Cupcake was at a store outside of the school, looking for clothes with his best friend Chris. "Should I wear this?" Chris asked, holding a green bikini. Cupcake was clutching his stomach, laughing really hard. "You'd look ridiculous!" Cupcake exclaimed. "Boy, I know how to fashion." Chris said. They both started laughing and continued to search. Cupcake found a blue and black tuxedo that came with a sparkling blue mask. "I think I found one for me!" He said. "I found one that's kind of similar." Chris said. He showed Cupcake a fox costume. "CHRIS, WHY?!" Cupcake exclaimed, falling onto the floor laughing once again. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Calm down before you pass out." Chris said. He took a green and black tuxedo off of a hanger. Cupcake sat up and tried to stop laughing. "So do you know who you're going with?" Chris asked. "I think I might go with Gazelle. She's funny and very sweet." Cupcake answered, smiling. "I think I'll go with that Vanessa girl." Chris said. After paying for the tuxedos and masks, they both walked back to school. But Cupcake did not know what was awaiting him in the halls.
