Chapter One: The New House

(I hope you enjoy this book, if you don't want all the boring stuff, then there will be a summery at the end of this chapter. Fut, just so you know, this is the ONLY chapter I will be doing this on. It would be too much work to continuously do that. Plus it would take the fun out of the book! Anyway, please enjoy!)

You sighed in relief after finishing unpacking everything in your new house. It had been a wile since you moved, so it was a bit of hard work. You had to move somewhere with all the things gong on in your life. Your (Ex) Boyfriend, Keven, has been a jerk lately. Your job has been horrible lately too, with your boss yelling at you. 

You just needed to leave, and so you did.

You left the city to live in the country, to have a little vacation from everything stressful. You looked around your new house, flopped down on the couch.  You took out your phone and looked at the time. 1:38pm. You had wasted so much time making your house, and everything is finally better.

You sighed, and decide to go outside for a walk for fresh air. You had been cooped up in your new house all day, and needed something... Anything.

So you put your phone in your pocket, slipped on some shoes,and walked outside. You took a deep long breath and looked at the sun. The sky was a lovely baby blue, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.

You started walking, and everything was lovely. After a while of walking, you finally made it into a park. You walked to a bench under an oak tree in front of a fountain. You sat there with your phone reading a book on Wattpad. 

You were having a lovely time, reading some original books and some fan fictions too, when suddenly something fell on your head. "Ow!" You said to yourself as you look at what it was. 

You looked down at the ground and saw an orange, triangular shaped gem. You placed your phone next to you and picked up the orange trinket.

It was sharply gut, sharp enough to cut your own finger if you pressed your finger against it to hard. "This is so... Weirdly cool." You said, talking to yourself. You put your phone in your back pocket, and the gem in the front as you walked home.

Once you got home, you looked around your house. You thought about where you should put the gem in your pocket, so it wouldn't shatter. 

'Although' You though, 'Something like this can't be easily shattered.'

You took the gem out of your pocket, and put it on a coffee table in your living room. You shrugged your shoulders and looked at your phones clock. 8:53pm. Did you really spend that much time at the park?

You decided to go put on your pajamas. A pair of slightly lose athletic shorts and a tank top. You went into that bathroom and brushed your teeth, and went into your room to sleep. You placed your phone on its charger on your side table, and started playing your music. After a wile you slowly drifted off to sleep.....

You awoke with a start at the sound of something inside your house breaking. You decided to go investigate, make sure there are no robbers or something. 

You slipped on your slippers, and grabbed a pocket knife you keep in the side table. You walked out to the living room and see your coffee table basically destroyed. You looked around for the gem, and couldn't find it. "Right, if there were robbers, they would of course take a valuable Gem stone to sell somewhere..." You said to yourself. You felt very tired, so you didn't really feel 'Battle ready' But at least in this condition you could still fight if needed.
