Abigail

As the close to perfect lady and me pulled up to the shelter I was scared very scared.I didn't know anybody so i couldn't trust anybody and those are the people i lived with." AS the kids who were running around stop in there tracks then sat down. we walked into the shelter you could smell the pee and tobacco in the room."Ms.maya back"i heard someone yelled and AS the kids who were running around stop in there tracks then sat down.The bigger children put there heads down trying to hide the fact that they were smoking.The perfect lady ignored all of this and kept walking.WE went down this long hall on the doors they had names on it i kept walking reading the names."chelsea ,ronald, eric, sam"Into came to this one door we both stopped and i read the names " Abigail and Queen"she open the door there sat this girl on one side of this bed she was sleep.She had sandy blonde hair and her eyes were ocean blue.She were a gray shirt that read "jesus loves me ". Her pants were very dingy."This is abigail".Ms.maya had said.Abigail look straight at me with her beautiful eyes and said .Hi.I sat on the other bed across .

I sat on the other bed then i started to unpack."well i'm going to leave you to to talk."ms maya said .Then she shut the door.

"So whats your name"abigail said she obviously wasn't good at making friends."uh.....im Queen"i said surprise she said two words to me."ok lets get some rules straight if you wanna live with me."she said with a bad tone of voice."never call me abigail, its abby alright."she said ,I could tell she was getting angry."next were are you from."she said starting to calm down. "from here well i from South side chicago ." she just look at me for a minute then words came out "your from the rough side of chicago ,were going to get along.she continued."im 12 how old are you"with a quick reply i said "I'm 12 to"

Then someone yelled "time to eat.......".Abby in the middle of the conversation stop grab my hand and ran like a bat out of hell.As we stop in the very long line i asked"what was that for". "girl if you wanna eat you better come,They don't care if we eat or not just as long as  were in the bed at 10:00."before she could finish her sentence two people bump me in the back. i yelled "god excuse you" Then those people and abigail laughed. 

"This here is Leia."Abigail started. Leia had pretty dark skin her hair was in braids  NEW braids at that! She had pretty brown eyes , She wore a black shirt that read out in big gold letters "I WOKE UP LIKE THIS". she had on ripped jeans that made her legs stand out. "Hi"Leia put her hand out for me to shake it and I did. "This here is my brother Leo"Leia said. Leo was very attractive looking. he look nothing like sibling . Leo skin was like brown sugar . His eyes popped out his head making them round and beautiful . His hair like a box cut. "Hi.. Hi .. Hi .. um hey"Queen muttered. "what's ya'll last name "Queen said, "Marvin"Leia said. As they got to the line  it was kind of like a cafeteria  . "what you want"a lady said who was smacking her gum very loud. Her hair was in a hair net and she had two gold tooths in the front of her mouth. "Uh everything please."Queen said . After they got there food and went to the tables to eat.

After we finish eating we went back to our room Leo went to the left with some of his friends I haven't meet yet . Me and Leia and Abby went to the right. Leia door was right across from ours it said Leia and La'qira. 

After we put on our night me wearing a shirt that read "Tumble and Flip"it was white then I wore a cute frizzy pajama's they wore pink. Abby wore a gray shirt with red writing but it was so dull I couldn't read it. Then some black shorts that went down to her knees.

As we cut the lights out and got in bed it was pitch black dark. I turned over just to go to sleep then abby hits me with a throw pillow . "Huh"I say turning over. "what's your story"Abby says very serious. "What you mean" I say kind of tired. "Where you come from what you about"Abby said still very serious. "um... ok .. so.. I use to live with my mama we was all happy me my dad and ma, we lived with my grandma"I say smiling thinking of the good days, I continue. "We all got along until...."my smile quickly spread from my face. A frown replaced it. I continued"until... my dad got shot then my mom went out her mind ... she quit her job ,she started doing drugs ... that's when fights would start my grandma was sick of it real sick of it... to be honest I was to, then some teacher saw some bruises on me and gave me too my grandma. my grandma died after that so here I am."I say very sad. "What yours"I say. "ok.. um I lived with my pops and my ma but she died when I was eight.. my daddy was real fun to be with ... use to take for ice cream every day then we go to the park .. I remember we had this song ... Daddy baby.. Daddy baby ... I love you, I love you... Daddy little tinkybutt... Daddy little tinkybutt.. There she go .. There she goes... Then he would pick me up in the air like I was flying.. Then one day my sister came home crying my dad said he was gone cheer her up and took her into a room and lock the door.. They ain't come out to hours later my sister was complaining she was sore.., Turns out my dad raped her and gave her aids he got lock away forever and she died"Abby said very dull and depressed. "I ain't never told nobody that keep it a secret .. you know that means we sisters know right."Abby said smiling really long.
